Linda Charman
Linda Elriani (née Charman; born 21 November 1971 in Eastbourne, United Kingdom) is a squash coach and former professional squash player from England. As a player, Elriani turned professional in 1990. She appeared in 32 professional tour finals, winning 15 titles. She also won the British National Championship title in 2005. Elriani reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 3 in 2000. She was the captain of the England team which won the World Team Squash Championships in 2000. At the 2002 Commonwealth Games, she won a bronze medal in the women's doubles, partnering Fiona Geaves. Elriani retired from the professional tour in 2006. She is married to the French squash player Laurent Elriani. Laurent Elriani was honored as the United States Olympic Committee National Coach of the Year in 2017, for coaching an incredible quartet of young squash players, which included the reigning U19 and U17 boy's champions and the number 1 ranked U19 and U17 boys. Eastbourne
Eastbourne () is a town and seaside resort in East Sussex, on the south coast of England, east of Brighton and south of London. Eastbourne is immediately east of Beachy Head, the highest chalk sea cliff in Great Britain and part of the larger Eastbourne Downland Estate. The Official Women's Squash World Ranking is the official world ranking for women's squash. The ranking is to rate the performance level of female professional squash player. It is also a merit-based method used for determining entry and seeding in women's squash tournaments. The rankings are produced monthly. The current world number one is Nouran Gohar of Egypt, who replaced Raneem El Welily in July 2020. The WISPA, the WSA and the PSA has used a computerized system for determining the rankings since April 1984. PSA ranking policy Players competing in PSA tournaments earn ranking points according to how far they get in the draw. The points available depend on the prize money and the draw size. Fiona Geaves (born 6 December 1967, in Gloucester, United Kingdom) is a former professional squash player from England. She played on the professional tour from 1987 to 2006, winning six tour titles, reaching a career-high ranking of World No. 5 in 2001, and remaining in the world's top-20 for an unbroken stretch of 19 years. Geaves won the British National Squash Championship title in 1995. At the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester, Geaves won Bronze Medals in both the women's doubles and mixed doubles.
