Lemon Duck
Lemon duck or ningmeng ya () is a specialty dish of the Wuming district, Nanning, Guangxi. The sour preserved lemon peel and other sour preserved ingredients used are a common feature of the cooking of the Zhuang minority who live in Guangxi. Lemon is otherwise not commonly used in Chinese cuisine. The flavor is described as 'hot and sour' (). Wuming District
Wuming District (; Standard Zhuang: ) is one of 7 districts of the prefecture-level city of Nanning, the capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, South China. The district was approved to build from the dissolution of the former ''Wuming County'' () by the Chinese State Council on February 16, 2015. Located north of the city proper, it borders the prefecture-level city of Baise to the west. Language Zhuang is the most widely spoken language of the district. Nanning (; ; za, Namzningz) is the capital and largest city by population of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in Southern China. Zhuang People
The Zhuang (; ; za, Bouxcuengh, italic=yes; ) are a Tai-speaking ethnic group who mostly live in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in Southern China.
