Lauvåsen is a neighbourhood in the city of Kristiansand in Agder county, Norway. It is a part of the borough of Oddernes and it is in the district of Hånes. The neighbourhood lies between European route E18 and Norwegian National Road 41, just east of the neighborhood of Hånni and southeast of the neighborhood of Grovikheia. History It is a new neighbourhood and the first building plots were released in 2011. The first phase of building comprising 127 dwellings was built by the end of 2012. The development is planned to take place over a 15-year period and to total approximately 1200 dwellings. Oddernes
Oddernes is a borough in the city of Kristiansand which lies in the municipality of Kristiansand in Agder county, Norway. The borough covers eastern Kristiansand on the east side of the Topdalsfjorden and the Varodd Bridge. The borough includes the former municipalities of Randesund and Tveit. There was a municipality of Oddernes from 1838 until 1965, but its boundaries were very different from those of the present-day borough. Name The borough (originally the parish) is named after the old ''Oddernæs'' farm (Old Norse: ''Otruness''). Voiebyen is a district in the city of Kristiansand in Agder county, Norway. The district has a population of about 6,000 people in 2014 and it is a part of the borough of Vågsbygd in the southwestern part of the city.
