Voiebyen is a district in the city of Kristiansand in Agder county, Norway. The district has a population of about 6,000 people in 2014 and it is a part of the borough of Vågsbygd in the southwestern part of the city. The district of Vågsbygd lies to the north, and the district of Flekkerøy lies to the south on the island of Flekkerøya. Voie Church is located in the district. Voiebyen has one junior high school, ''Møvik Skole'' and two elementary schools: ''Torkelsmyra skole'' and ''Voie skole''. Vågsbygd is a borough and disrict in the city of Kristiansand which lies in the municipality of Kristiansand in Agder county, Norway. It is the largest borough and district in Kristiansand. Flekkerøy
Flekkerøy or Flekkerøya is an island and residential district in Kristiansand municipality in Agder county, Norway. The district is located within the borough of Vågsbygd, and it consists of 4 main neighborhoods: Berge/Andås, Kjære, Lindebø/Skålevik, and Mæbø/Høyfjellet. The district covers all of the island of Flekkerøya which lies within the city of Kristiansand. Voie Church
Voie Church ( no, Voie kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Kristiansand Municipality in Agder county, Norway. It is located in the Møvik neighborhood in the district of Voiebyen in the borough of Vågsbygd in the city of Kristiansand. It is the church for the Voie parish which is part of the Kristiansand domprosti (arch-deanery) in the Diocese of Agder og Telemark. The red, brick church was built in a fan-shaped design in 1990 using plans drawn up by the architect Arild Lauvland. The church seats about 300 people, but it can be expanded to about 500 people. History Voie parish was separated from Vågsbygd parish in 1978. The foundation stone was laid on 8 May 1982.
