Laura Casabuena
Laura Casabuena García (born 26 December 2005) is a Spanish artistic gymnast. She was part of the bronze medal-winning team at the 2022 Mediterranean Games. She represented Spain at the 2024 Summer Olympics. Early life Casabuena was born in Alcoy, Spain, on 26 December 2005. She began gymnastics when she was six after being inspired by the 2012 Summer Olympics. She has a younger sister, Lucía, who also competes in gymnastics. Gymnastics career Casabuena finished fifth in the all-around in the junior division of the 2020 Spanish Championships. She became age-eligible for senior competition in 2021, finishing fifth all-around in the senior division at the 2021 Spanish Championships. 2022 Casabuena made her international debut at the Koper World Challenge Cup where she finished fifth on uneven bars and seventh on floor exercise. Gymnastics At The 2024 Summer Olympics – Qualification
This article describes the qualifying phase for gymnastics at the 2024 Summer Olympics. A total of 318 gymnasts (192 in artistic, 94 in rhythmic and 32 in trampoline) will qualify. The qualification pathway for the 2024 Summer Olympics is significantly simplified and modified from those in 2020. In the artistic team event, a maximum of five gymnasts will be eligible to participate as opposed to the four per team and two individuals who competed in Tokyo 2020. Three teams who finish on the podium qualify for the Olympics through the 2022 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Liverpool with a large proportion of quota places distributed at the same meet in Antwerp, Belgium by the following year. The 2024 World Cup series will also hand the gymnasts an opportunity to earn more spots in separate apparatus events. 2023 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships
The 2023 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships were held in Antwerp, Belgium at the Sportpaleis, from 30 September to 8 October 2023. Antwerp hosted the event for the third time; previously the city hosted the first ever World Championships in 1903 and again in 2013. The championships was a qualification event for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. The top nine teams in both the men's and women's team qualifications (not including teams that qualified at the previous year's World Championships) obtained five quota places for Paris as a team. Sabrina Voinea
Sabrina Maneca-Voinea (born June 4, 2007) is a Romanian artistic gymnast. Personal life Voinea was born in Constanța in 2007. Her mother, Camelia Voinea, is a former artistic gymnast who competed at the 1988 Summer Olympics and won a silver medal with the Romanian team. When Sabrina was young, Camelia brought her to the gym where she worked as a coach, and Sabrina became interested in gymnastics herself. Sabrina is coached by her mother. Junior career Voinea started competing for the Romanian national team in 2017. In April 2022, she competed at the Junior City of Jesolo Trophy. Ana Maria Bărbosu (born 26 July 2006) is a Romanian artistic gymnast. She is the 2020 European junior team and all-around champion and the 2020 Romanian national all-around silver medalist Junior gymnastics career 2017 Bărbosu competed in the Junior II Level 3 division at the 2017 Romanian Junior Championships, finishing fourth in the all-around. The 10th European Men's and Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships was held from 11 to 16 April 2023 in Antalya, Turkey.
