Ana Bărbosu
Ana Maria Bărbosu (born 26 July 2006) is a Romanian artistic gymnast. She is the 2020 European junior team and all-around champion and the 2020 Romanian national all-around silver medalist Junior gymnastics career 2017 Bărbosu competed in the Junior II Level 3 division at the 2017 Romanian Junior Championships, finishing fourth in the all-around. In event finals, she was fifth on vault and fourth on uneven bars, before she earned a silver medal on balance beam and a bronze medal on floor. 2019 Bărbosu opened her season at the domestic Petrom Cup in June, winning gold in the all-around ahead of Sabrina Voinea and Maria Ceplinschi. She then won gold in the Espoir division at the 2019 Romanian Junior Championships the following week, again ahead of Voinea and Amalia Petre in third. The 34th European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships was held from 11–14 August 2022 in Munich, Germany as part of the second multi-sport European Championships. Elena Gerasimova
Elena Anatolyevna Gerasimova (russian: Елена Анатольевна Герасимова, born 21 June 2004) is a Russian artistic gymnast who represented Russian Olympic Committee athletes at the 2020 Summer Olympics. She was a member of the team who won gold at the inaugural Junior World Championships. Individually she is the 2019 Junior World Champion on the balance beam. Early life Gerasimova was born in Cheboksary, Russia in 2004. Gymnastics career Junior 2017 Gerasimova competed at International Gymnix in Montreal, Canada. She helped the Russian team finish third and individually she placed twelfth in the all-around and fifth on the uneven bars. 2022 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships
The 2022 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships was held in Liverpool, United Kingdom at the Liverpool Arena, from 29 October to 6 November 2022. The United Kingdom previously hosted this event in 1993 (Birmingham), 2009 (London) and 2015 (Glasgow). The championships is a qualification event for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Ana Đerek (born 4 September 1998) is a Croatian artistic gymnast, representing her nation in international competitions. She participated at the 2015 World Championships in Glasgow, and eventually qualified for 2016 Summer Olympics through the test event, held four months earlier in Rio de Janeiro. Age Requirements In Gymnastics
The age requirements in gymnastics are established by the Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG) and regulate the age at which athletes are allowed to participate in senior-level competitions. In the latter half of the 20th century, a series of controversies arose with regard to gymnast ages, some of them leading to sanctions by FIG, and paving the way for the age requirements to be raised from 14 to 15 in 1981, and then to 16 in 1997.
