Lasse Kolstad
Lars "Lasse" Kolstad (10 January 1922 – 14 January 2012) was a Norwegian actor and singer. Active from the 1940s, he was known from many stage roles, but primarily as "Tevye" in ''Fiddler on the Roof''. As a secondary school student, Kolstad was president of the graduating class (''Russefeiring, russ'') council of his school, and eventually for all of Oslo. As this was in 1940, the Occupation of Norway by Nazi Germany, German occupation of Norway put a damper on any great festivities that year. In 1943 he had his début at Trøndelag Teater, where he remained until 1949. He has later worked at Centralteatret, Edderkoppen Theatre, Edderkoppen, Riksteatret, Fjernsynsteatret og Det Norske Teatret. He has had roles in plays by Henrik Ibsen, Ibsen, William Shakespeare, Shakespeare and Sophocles, and musicals such as ''Zorba (musical), Zorba'' and ''The Threepenny Opera''. Randi Kolstad
Randi Kolstad (born Randi Ballestad, later known as Randi Borch, May 23, 1925 – October 6, 1999) was a Norwegian theater and screen actress. Kolstad made her film debut in 1951 in ''Kranes konditori''. She appeared in 14 films. She participated in preparing the script for the 1954 film ''Portrettet''. Family Randi Kolstad was the daughter of the associate professor Thor Ballestad (1891–1970) and Hjørdis Marie Ruud (1902–1973). She was married to the actor Lasse Kolstad from 1946 to 1955. She later married Hans Jacob Astrup Borch (1924–1996) and took the surname Borch. ''Skøytekongen'' (The Skating King) is a black-and-white Norwegian drama film from 1953 directed by Nils R. Müller. The script was written by Sigbjørn Hølmebakk based on a concept by Bjørn Storberget. The film stars Lasse Kolstad and Sidsel Meyer. Plot Skating king Hans Hellemo grew up under difficult conditions. His father's highest dream in life was for his son to go to college. Hans works as a truck driver, and the rest of the time he practices skating. His father watches with bitterness how his son's friends go off to college one by one, while his son is still working. Eventually it dawns on Hans that it is not enough to just be a skating king. Bussen (film)
''Bussen'' (The Bus) is a 1961 Norwegian comedy film, directed by Arne Skouen and starring Leif Juster, and a strikingly similar 1963 Danish comedy film directed by Finn Henriksen and starring Dirch Passer (the texts acknowledge this source at the start of the Danish version). The plot and script is essentially the same in both films (and also a couple of names). The Danish version is made suitable for a Danish audience. The music to the Norwegian version was written by Maj Sønstevold and Gunnar Sønstevold, with additional songs written by Alf Prøysen. The original main character was written for Leif Juster. At this point in his career, Juster was a popular movie actor. It is possible that Arne Skouen was inspired by a narrative poem written by the poet Ingeborg Refling Hagen, about a milkman who is constantly running errands because of his good heart. ''Hans Nielsen Hauge'' is a Norwegian film from 1961 directed by Kåre Bergstrøm. It is a dramatization of the life of the lay minister Hans Nielsen Hauge (1771–1824). The film received a lukewarm reception from ''Verdens Gangs reviewer, who gave it three out of six stars. Plot The film opens in 1804, when Crown Prince Regent Frederick is ruling Denmark–Norway. The Royal Danish Chancellery has issued an arrest warrant for Hans Nielsen Hauge. The arrest warrant is sent to all the county governors in Norway, and Hauge is taken to Christiania in irons. The film follows the trial against Hauge. An impression of his past life and work is given in retrospect. The case against Hauge lasted many years because Copenhagen found no reason to hurry. This was a turning point in Norway, and Napoleon was building an empire in Europe. The case was not concluded until 1813. Henki Kolstad (3 February 1915 – 14 July 2008) was a Norwegian actor and pop-cultural national treasure. With his debut at the Oslo national theater, he was known for his appearances in '' Olsenbanden'', the children's series Jul i Skomakergata,English: Christmas in Shoemaker Street ''(literal)'' or A Shoemaker's Christmas''(release title)''. Alexander Lange Kielland (; 18 February 1849 – 6 April 1906) was a Norwegian realistic writer of the 19th century. He is one of the so-called "The Four Greats" of Norwegian literature, along with Henrik Ibsen, Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson and Jonas Lie.
