Lan Saka ( th, ลานสกา, ) is a district (''amphoe'') of Nakhon Si Thammarat province, southern Thailand. History The district was at first a minor district (''king amphoe'') named Khao Kaeo (เขาแก้ว), which was a subordinate of Mueang Nakhon Si Thammarat district. Phrom Khiri District
Phrom Khiri ( th, พรหมคีรี, ) is a district (''amphoe'') of Nakhon Si Thammarat province, southern Thailand. History On 26 August 1974 the minor district (''king amphoe'') Phrom Khiri was formed with the three ''tambons'' Phrom Lok, Ban Ko, and In Khiri split from Mueang Nakhon Si Thammarat district. On 13 July 1981 it was upgraded to a full district. Geography Phrom Khiri is located from Nakhon Si Thammarat Airport, and taking approximately 20 minutes to reach. The district is located in the midst of rubber plantations and surrounded by lush forests. There're small streets cutting through to allow access to the village. Thesaban Tambon
Thesaban ( th, เทศบาล, , ) are the municipalities of Thailand. There are three levels of municipalities: city, town, and sub-district. Muban
Muban ( th, หมู่บ้าน; , ) is the lowest administrative sub-division of Thailand. Usually translated as 'village' and sometimes as 'hamlet', they are a subdivision of a tambon (subdistrict). , there were 74,944 administrative mubans in Thailand. As of the 1990 census, the average village consisted of 144 households or 746 persons. Khao Luang National Park
Khao Luang (เขาหลวง) is the tallest mountain in southern Thailand. It is in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. Geography The Khao Luang mountain is the highest summit of a massif of several hills with steep slopes. It is part of the Nakhon Si Thammarat Range, a subrange of the Tenasserim Hills. Geologically this mountain formation consists of a granite core under loose soils. On steep slopes, the soil covering the mountains can cause landslides when saturated with water. Some of the forests of the area were felled to give way to rubber plantations. Khao Luang National Park Khao Luang National Park is named after Khao Luang mountain. The park is mountainous with many tall peaks along its range. Chang Klang ( th, ช้างกลาง, ) is a district (''amphoe'') of Nakhon Si Thammarat province, southern Thailand. History The district was created on 15 July 1996 by splitting the three southeastern ''tambons'' from Chawang district. On 15 May 2007, all 81 minor districts were upgraded to full districts. Ron Phibun District
Ron Phibun ( th, อำเภอร่อนพิบูลย์, ) Ron Phibun or Ronphibool is a district (''amphoe'') in the southern part of Nakhon Si Thammarat province, southern Thailand. The district is home to the Phud Hong Leper Colony. As of 2020, it provides a home for 133 leprosy patients.
