La Estancia is a village in Aconchi Municipality located in the center of the Mexican state of Sonora. near the area of the Sierra Madre Occidental, It is the second most populated locality of the municipality counting in 2010 with 713 inhabitants, according to data from INEGI. Sierra Madre Occidental
The Sierra Madre Occidental is a major mountain range system of the North American Cordillera, that runs northwest–southeast through northwestern and western Mexico, and along the Gulf of California.
