Lumpens () is a South Korean-based video production company formed and led by art director Yong-seok Choi. They consist of a group of directors and producers in the field of video production, specializing mostly in the production of music videos, television advertisements, experimental films, graphic design, and visual art. Background Starting as a visual art production company by Yeon-seok Choi, 'Lumpens' was a nickname given to Choi by a college professor referring to the German insult. The company initially focused on commercials and fashion shoots. In 2010, their V.A.J.P (Visual Art Jam Performance) garnered some attention, but Choi says the first real recognition came after he showcased a 3D version of animation Robot Taekwon V at a fan convention in January 2011. Spica (, stylized as SPICA) was a South Korean girl group formed in 2012 under B2M Entertainment. The group consists of Kim Boa, Park Sihyun, Park Narae, Yang Jiwon and Kim Bohyung. Their pre-debut single "Doggedly" was released on January 10, 2012, followed by their debut mini-album, '' Russian Roulette'', on February 8, 2012. They officially disbanded on February 6, 2017, though Bohyung has confirmed a possible reunion in the future. Lee Ji-eun (; born May 16, 1993), also known by her stage name IU (), is a South Korean singer-songwriter, record producer and actress. 2018 Mnet Asian Music Awards
The 2018 Mnet Asian Music Awards ceremony, organized by CJ E&M through its music channel Mnet, took place from December 10 through December 14, 2018 (dubbed as "MAMA Week") in South Korea, Japan and Hong Kong. "Time for the Moon Night" (; : "Night") is a song recorded by South Korean girl group GFriend for their sixth extended play of the same name. The song was released by Source Music on April 30, 2018. It is the first and only song to achieve a grandslam in 2018, winning all of the six music program trophies consecutively in one week. The song was written by No Joo-hwan and Lee Won-jong and is GFriend's first single not written by producer duo Iggy and Youngbae. GFriend
GFriend (stylized in all caps; ) was a South Korean girl group formed by Source Music in 2015. The group consisted of six members: Sowon, Yerin, Eunha, Yuju, SinB, and Umji. They debuted with the extended play (EP) '' Season of Glass'' on January 15, 2015 and won several female rookie awards, garnering momentum early on despite being from a small company. Guckkasten
Guckkasten ( ko, 국카스텐) is a South Korean indie rock band. Formed in 2003 under the name The C.O.M. (더 컴), the original lineup consisted of vocalist Ha Hyun-woo, guitarist Jeon Kyu-ho, drummer Lee Jung-gil, and bassist Kim Jin-eok. Due to conscription, The C.O.M. disbanded. In 2007, they regrouped with Kim Ki-bum as bassist under the name Guckkasten, which is the German word for Zograscope. The band intends to make music with psychedelic images hidden under analogous art. History In 2000, Ha Hyun-woo and Lee Jung-gil met while attending the same university. The following year, Jeon Kyu-ho, who earned a crane operation license at the time, was found through the internet.
