2018 Mnet Asian Music Awards
The 2018 Mnet Asian Music Awards ceremony, organized by CJ E&M through its music channel Mnet, took place from December 10 through December 14, 2018 (dubbed as "MAMA Week") in South Korea, Japan and Hong Kong. The ceremony was the first Mnet Asian Music Awards hosted in South Korea in nine years, the 20th ceremony in the show's history, and the second ceremony which took place in three locations. This was also the first ceremony broadcast worldwide online via YouTube. The three days event generated over 50 million messages sent on Twitter. Four Grand Prizes (Daesangs) were given throughout the ceremonies; Album of the Year, Artist of the Year, Song of the Year and the addition of Worldwide Icon of the Year. Shows "2018 MAMA Premiere in Korea" celebrated and honored new artists in both South Korea and other parts of Asia. Jung Hae-in
Jung Hae-in (born April 1, 1988) is a South Korean actor. He first made an appearance in AOA Black's music video for "Moya" in 2013 and officially debuted through the TV series ''Bride of the Century'' the next year. He gained recognition for his main role in 2017 television series '' While You Were Sleeping'' and for his supporting role in ''Prison Playbook''. Saitama Super Arena
is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in Chūō-ku, Saitama, Saitama Prefecture, Japan. It opened preliminarily on May 5, 2000, and then was officially opened on September 1 of the same year. Its maximum spectator capacity is 36,500, making it the second-largest indoor arena in the world. The main arena capacity is between 19,000 and 22,500. The arena was designed by Dan Meis, who at the time was working for architecture firm Ellerbe Becket, together with Nikken Sekkei. Meis's design was selected as a result of an international design competition. The arena features a gigantic movable section of seating which can reduce capacity for smaller events and create a more intimate setting. It was released by JYP Entertainment on April 9, 2018, as the lead single from their fifth extended play of the same name. The MAMA Award for Song of the Year () is an honor presented at the annual MAMA Awards, a South Korean awards ceremony presented by Mnet. TikTok, known in China as Douyin (), is a short-form video hosting service owned by the Chinese company ByteDance. It hosts user-submitted videos, which can range in duration from 15 seconds to 10 minutes. TikTok is an international version of Douyin, which was released in the Chinese market in September 2016. It launched in 2017 for iOS and Android in most markets outside of mainland China; however, it became available worldwide only after merging with another Chinese social media service, Musical.ly, on 2 August 2018.
