Krajowe Eliminacje
Krajowe Eliminacje ("National Qualification") was the name of the show that selects Poland's entry to the Eurovision Song Contest. The first Krajowe Eliminacje was held in 2010. Between 2003 and 2004, the national selection was named ''Krajowe Eliminacje do Konkursu Piosenki Eurowizji'' and between 2006 and 2009 it was known as ''Piosenka dla Europy''. History 2010–2011 In 2010, TVP decided to change the name of the national final to ''Krajowe Eliminacje''. By fans' involvement, Marcin Mroziński with his song " Legenda" got a wild card to the national final, which he ended up winning. At Eurovision he finished in 13th place in the semi-final and therefore failed to qualify for the final. In 2011, ''Krajowe Eliminacje'' was won by Magdalena Tul with her song "Jestem", however, Magdalena also did not qualify for the Eurovision final. The song was written by Gromee, Lukas Meijer, Mahan Moin and Christian Rabb. Eurovision Song Contest The song represented Poland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon, Portugal. The song competed in the second semi-final, held on 10 May 2018. It did not advance to the grand final. Poland participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song " Color of Your Life" written by Andy Palmer and Kamil Varen. The song was performed by Michał Szpak. Lukas Meijer
Lukas Meijer (born 21 August 1988) is a Swedish rock musician, guitarist, singer and songwriter, vocalist of band No Sleep For Lucy. Together with Polish DJ Gromee, he represented Poland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon, Portugal, with the song "Light Me Up". Biography He spent his childhood in Ulricehamn. He graduated from high school in Tingsholm and studied at the Uppsala University Uppsala University ( sv, Uppsala universitet) is a public university, public research university in Uppsala, Sweden. Gromee
Andrzej Gromala (born 14 December 1978), better known by his stage name Gromee, is a Polish DJ, record producer, remixer and owner of Kingztown Music. In 2016 he signed a record deal with Sony Music. At the Eska Music Awards 2017 he won the award for Best DJ/Producer. He won the Poland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018, Polish national final for the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon, Portugal. Together with Swedish singer Lukas Meijer, he represented his home country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon with the song "Light Me Up (Gromee song), Light Me Up" becoming the first DJ in history to perform at the Eurovision Song Contest. His solo projects have included Andreas Moe, known for being part of Tiesto's or Hardwell's tracks. He has performed at numerous music festivals.
