Kirin Cup
The is an association football tournament organised in Japan by the Kirin Brewery Company. The host, Japan, is a participant in every edition. The tournament was founded in 1978 then known as Japan Cup (International competition which national teams and clubs participated in), and was last held in its full form in 2022. From 1992 onwards, the format was changed to a round robin national team competition. The first nation to win the competition was Argentina. Japan are the tournament's most successful team with eleven titles, followed by Peru with three titles. As of 2022, the current cup holders are Tunisia. Since the start of the international competitions in 1992, the tournament has hosted a variety of teams from South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. The Japan Football Association (JFA, ) is the governing body responsible for the administration of football, futsal, beach soccer and efootball in Japan. It is responsible for the national team, as well as club competitions. History The organisation was founded in 1921 as the , and became affiliated with FIFA in 1929. In 1945, the name of the organisation was changed to the ; its Japanese name was changed to the current title in 1975. This reflected common use of the word ''sakkā'' (サッカー), derived from "soccer", rather than the older Japanese word ''shūkyū'' (蹴球; literally "kick-ball"). is a former Japanese football player and manager. He played for Japan national team. Club career Totsuka was born in Tokyo on April 24, 1961. He joined Yomiuri (later ''Verdy Kawasaki'') from youth team in 1979. The club won the champions in Japan Soccer League 5 times, JSL Cup 3 times and Emperor's Cup 3 times. This was golden era in club history. He also became a top scorer 2 times (1984 and 1990–91). In 1992, Japan Soccer League was folded and founded new league J1 League. National Stadium (Tokyo)
was a multi-purpose stadium in Kasumigaokamachi, Kasumigaoka, Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan. The stadium served as the main stadium for the opening and closing ceremonies, as well as being the venue for track and field events at the 1964 Summer Olympics. The Japan national football team's home matches and major football club cup finals were held at the stadium. The stadium's official capacity was 57,363, but the seating capacity was only 48,000 seats. Demolition was completed in May 2015, and the site was redeveloped with a Japan National Stadium, new larger-capacity Olympic Stadium. The new stadium was the main venue for the 2020 Summer Olympics and 2020 Summer Paralympics, Paralympics. Carlo De Leeuw
Carlo de Leeuw (12 December 1960 – 13 February 2020) was a Dutch footballer. Club career A talented forward, De Leeuw came through the youth system of hometown club Feyenoord and made his professional debut for them against Excelsior on 23 September 1979. He won a penalty and scored one of their goals in the 1980 Cup final against eternal rivals Ajax. After four years he joined city rivals Excelsior for whom he had two different spells. He made his debut for them on 22 August 1982 against his former club Feyenoord. Willem Van Hanegem
Willem "Wim" van Hanegem (; born 20 February 1944) is a Dutch former football player and coach who played as a midfielder. In a playing career spanning over 20 years, he won several domestic honours in the Netherlands, as well as a European Cup and a UEFA trophy, all with Feyenoord. He was also a finalist in the 1974 FIFA World Cup. As a manager, he won the league and cup with Feyenoord and spent a period as the Dutch national team's assistant coach. His most recent job as manager was for FC Utrecht, from 2007 to 2008. Kazuo Ozaki
is a Japanese former professional footballer who played as a forward. He made 17 appearances for the Japan national team scoring three goals. Club career Ozaki was born in Tokyo on March 7, 1960. After graduating from high school, he joined Mitsubishi Motors in 1978. In 1978, the club won all three major title in Japan; Japan Soccer League, JSL Cup and Emperor's Cup. The club also won 1980 Emperor's Cup, 1981 JSL Cup and 1982 Japan Soccer League. He was also selected Japanese Footballer of the Year awards in 1982. is a former Japanese football player and manager. He is the current assistant manager Japan Football League club of Briobecca Urayasu. He played for Japan national team. NKK Soccer Club (NKKサッカー部, ''Enu Kei Kei Sakka Bu'', formerly Nippon Kokan Soccer Club (日本鋼管サッカー部, ''Nippon Kokan Sakka Bu'')) was a Japanese football club which operated from 1932 to 1994.
