Kaerla
Kaerla is a district in the Tampereentie ward of the city of Turku, in Finland. It is located to the north of the city centre, next to the densely built suburb of Runosmäki. Kaerla is mostly low-density residential area, but it also includes the area of Impivaara, with numerous sports and recreational facilities such as an ice hockey arena, an indoor football venue, the city's main swimming centre, as well as a tennis centre. The current () population of Kaerla is 2,182, and it is decreasing at an annual rate of 1.47%. 16.50% of the district's population are under 15 years old, while 17.74% are over 65. The city of Turku, Finland is divided into nine wards (''see Wards of Turku''), which in turn are divided into 78 non-governmental districts ( in Finnish, in Swedish). Tampereentie (Finnish language, Finnish; ''Tammerforsvägen'' in Finland-Swedish, Swedish) is a ward (politics), ward (, ) of Turku, Finland, also known as Ward 6. The ward is located to the north of the city centre and named after the major route that passes through the ward in the direction of Tampere. The ward has a population of 14,010 () and an annual population decrease of 0.75%. 12.88% of the ward's population are under 15 years old, while 20.27% are over 65. Turku
Turku ( ; ; sv, Åbo, ) is a city and former capital on the southwest coast of Finland at the mouth of the Aura River, in the region of Finland Proper (''Varsinais-Suomi'') and the former Turku and Pori Province (''Turun ja Porin lääni''; 1634–1997). The region was originally called Suomi (Finland), which later became the name for the whole country. A suburb (more broadly suburban area) is an area within a metropolitan area, which may include commercial and mixed-use, that is primarily a residential area. Runosmäki (Swedish ''Runosbacken'') is a district and a suburb of the city of Turku, Finland, located approximately six kilometres to the north of the city centre. It is the largest district in the city, with a population of 10,296 (). However, the area of the district also includes the nearby suburb of Länsinummi in addition to Runosmäki proper, which has a population of about 8,200 and thus it is only the second-largest suburb of Turku, after Varissuo. The district's annual population growth is 0.42%. 13.42% of its population is aged under 15, while 16.78% are over 65 years old. Tennis
Tennis is a racket sport that is played either individually against a single opponent ( singles) or between two teams of two players each ( doubles).
