KTVX (channel 4) is a television station in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States, affiliated with ABC. It is owned by Nexstar Media Group alongside Ogden-licensed CW owned-and-operated station KUCW (channel 30). Both stations share studios on West 1700 South in Salt Lake City, while KTVX's transmitter is located atop Farnsworth Peak in the Oquirrh Mountains. KTVX has a large network of broadcast translators that extend its over-the-air coverage throughout Utah, as well as portions of Idaho, Nevada and Wyoming. WTVX
WTVX (channel 34) is a television station licensed to Fort Pierce, Florida, United States, serving the West Palm Beach area as an affiliate of The CW. It is owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group alongside CBS affiliate WPEC (channel 12) and two low-power, Class A stations: MyNetworkTV affiliate WTCN-CD (channel 43) and TBD owned-and-operated station WWHB-CD (channel 48). The stations share studios on Fairfield Drive in Mangonia Park (with a West Palm Beach postal address), while WTVX's transmitter is located southwest of Palm City, Florida. Farnsworth Peak
Farnsworth Peak is a peak located on the northern end of the Oquirrh Mountain range, approximately south west of Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. The mountain is named for Philo Farnsworth, the inventor of the first completely electronic television. It is used mainly for radio and television transmission, but could potentially become part of a ski resort owned by nearby Kennecott Land. On the eastern side of the mountain, the land is completely private, and access is restricted. The peak can be reached by hiking from the Tooele side, which is mostly public land. The Bureau of Land Management land extends from Ridge Peak west to the base of the mountain. Public access to this land is available off SR-36 near Lake Point. The TVX Broadcast Group was an Television in the United States, American media company that owned a group of ultra high frequency, UHF television stations during the 1980s. Originally known as the Television Corp. of Virginia, the company was headquartered in Norfolk, Virginia, and was founded by a group led by television executive Timothy McDonald and local media personality-turned radio executive Gene Loving. TVX began with a start-up television station, WTVZ, in 1979. KNIT (AM)
KNIT (1320 kHz) is an AM radio station in Salt Lake City, Utah. It serves the Wasatch Front area of Utah. The station is one of the oldest in Salt Lake City, established in 1922 as KDYL. KNIT's transmitter site is on Pitchfork Lane in Murray, Utah, near Interstate 215. It broadcasts at 730 watts, using a single tower non-directional antenna. The station shares this tower with KJJC. KNIT carries the Christian talk and teaching programming of "Your Network of Praise." The non-profit organization also has stations in Montana, Idaho, Wyoming and North Dakota.
