Kpando Secondary School
Kpando Senior High School formerly known as Kpando Secondary School is a second cycle Co-Ed institution in the Kpando Municipal District of the Volta Region of Ghana. One of the three second cycle schools in the Kpando township and arguably the best Senior High School in the Kpando Municipality as well as in the Volta Region of Ghana. It runs all the Senior High School Courses approved by the Ghana Education Service. Kpando Senior High School improves quality teaching and learning due to the availability of facilities ranging from furnished classroom blocks, art studio, science laboratory, well stocked library and staff. In 2016, she ranked at 38th position in the WAEC results rankings. It has facilities for sports and other extracurricular activities. Kpando Municipal District
Kpando Municipal District is one of the eighteen districts in Volta Region, Ghana. Originally created as an ordinary district assembly on 10 March 1989 when it was known as Kpando District, until the southern part of the district was split off by a decree of president John Agyekum Kufuor on 19 August 2004 to create South Dayi District; thus the remaining part has been retained as Kpando District. However on 28 June 2012, the southern part of the district was later split off to create North Dayi District on 28 June 2012; while the remaining part was elevated to municipal district assembly status on the same year to become Kpando Municipal District. Volta Region
Volta Region (or Volta) is one of Ghana's sixteen administrative regions, with Ho designated as its capital. It is located west of Republic of Togo and to the east of Lake Volta. Emmanuel Yao Adzator
Emmanuel Yao Adzator is a Ghanaian security expert. He was appointed by President John Dramani Mahama as the director general of the Ghana Prisons Service. He was succeeded by Patrick Darko Missah in March 2017. Education Emmanuel Adzator had his second cycle education at Kpando Secondary School. The Ghana Prisons Service is responsible for the safe custody of prisoners in Ghana, as well as their welfare, reformation and rehabilitation. It is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of the Interior. Administration The prisons service is governed by the Prisons Service Council, an advisory and supervisory body. Joseph Amenowode
Joseph Zaphenat Amenowode is a Ghanaian politician and academic. He was the Member of Parliament for Hohoe South and was the Minister for the Volta Region of Ghana from January 2009 until his dismissal on 6 March 2012.
