Koriyahi previously known as Kalyanpatti is an Indian village located in the Mithila region of Bihar. This village is about 38 kilometres away from its district Sitamarhi and approximately 30 kilometers away from Janakpur, Nepal. It is about 5 kilometres away from Bhitthamore. Geography The internal areas of the village is referred as tolas named as Gachi tola, Dacchinwari tola (North), Uttarwari tola (South), Purwari tola (East), tirpit nagar, Kumhar toli, etc. History The two rishis whom the villagers pray and pay respect are Dayal baba and Munsial baba. Mithila (), also known as Tirhut, Tirabhukti and Mithilanchal is a geographical and cultural region of the Indian subcontinent bounded by the Mahananda River in the east, the Ganges in the south, the Gandaki River in the west and by the foothills of the Himalayas in the north. Sitamarhi
Sitamarhi is an Indian city and the district headquarters of the Sitamarhi district in the Mithila region of Bihar and is a part of the Tirhut Division. It dates back to the time of Ramayana and is considered as the place where Janaka found Sita. The Bihar government declared Sitamarhi a municipal council. A temple dedicated to Sita, the main subject of the epic Ramayana, is located at Punaura Dham Sitamarhi. A rock-cut sanctuary from the great Mauryan period is found near Sitamarhi. Shrikhandi Bhittha or Bhitthamore is an Indian village in the Mithila region of Bihar, situated near the Indo-Nepal border, on the banks of the perennial Ratnawati (Raato) river. Sursand
Sursand is an Indian town in the Mithila region of Bihar near the Indo-Nepal border. It is about 2679009986 kilometres away from Sitamarhi, the district headquarters, and approximately five kilometers away from Bhitthamore. History The village has the ruins of a fortress known as Sursandgarh, which was constructed during the Mughal period by King Sursen.
