Kongnapa Weerasakreck
Kongnapa (or Gonnapar) Weerasakreck is a Thai Muay Thai fighter and kickboxer. He is the former K-1 Lightweight champion and former Krush Lightweight champion. After having over a hundred fights in Thailand, Gonnapar moved to Japan in 2010. As of May 2020, he is the #2 ranked super bantamweight in the world, according to Combat Press. Kickboxing career Gonnapar made his kickboxing debut against Hideaki Yamazaki in September 2016, a fight which he won by unanimous decision. Before that, he fought in muay thai, winning the WMPF World Super Lightweight title and successfully defending it twice. Gonnapar participated in the 2017 K-1 Lightweight Grand Prix. In the quarterfinals, he won a unanimous decision against Koya Urabe, but lost the semifinal bout against Ren Hiramoto by a first round knockout. Nakhon Phanom ( th, นครพนม, ) is a town (''thesaban mueang'') in northeastern Thailand, capital of Nakhon Phanom Province. Taiju Shiratori
is a Japanese professional muay thai kickboxer and former boxer. A professional competitor since 2011, Shiratori began his career as a muay thai fighter, most notably winning the WPMF Japan title in 2013. Following an unsuccessful two year boxing career, Shiatori transitioned to kickboxing. He was the 2019 RISE Lightweight champion and RISE World Series winner, as well as the 2021 Rizin KICK tournament winner. Krush (kickboxing)
Krush is a martial arts entertainment planning and promotion brand established in 2008, currently based in Japan. It is the sister brand of K-1, and has produced numerous future K-1 competitors, such as Takeru Segawa, Tatsuya Tsubakihara and Yuki Egawa. It features events across ten male and three female weight classes. Current Krush champions History Krush was launched in 2008, prior to the death of K-1 FEG, as a collaboration between K-1 and All Japan Kickboxing Federation. Yuma Saikyo (西京 佑馬) is a Japanese kickboxer, fighting out of Tokyo, Japan. He is the former Krush Super Featherweight champion. As of 1 August 2020, he is ranked the #7 flyweight in the world by Combat Press. Kickboxing career Saikyo made his professional debut in April 2017, against Hiroki Kokubo.
