Kingswells is a village and suburb of Aberdeen, Scotland, situated west of the city and to the east of Westhill. Kingswells has existed as a village for centuries, but only beginning in the 1980s did it expand as a result of the boom in the oil industry. Aberdeen Donside (Gaelic: ''Obar Dheathain Oir Dheathain'') is a constituency of the Scottish Parliament ( Holyrood) covering part of the council area of Aberdeen City. It elects one Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) by the first past the post method of election.
