Kim Min-chae
Kim Min-chae (Hangul: 김민채; born 26 February 2006) is a South Korean figure skater. She is the 2022 CS Denis Ten Memorial Challenge champion. Personal life Kim was born on 26 February 2006 in Seoul. Career Early career Kim made her international debut as an advanced novice at the 2018 Crystal Skate of Romania, which she won. She then went on to win the silver medal at the 2019 Korean Junior Championships. Her second international competition was as a junior at the 2019 Prague Ice Cup, the following season, where she won the silver medal. Debuting on the senior National level, Kim place twelfth at the 2020 Korean Championships. The following year, Kim placed tenth at the 2021 Korean Championships. 2021–22 season Debuting on the 2021–22 ISU Junior Grand Prix, Kim placed fourth at 2021 Junior Grand Prix Slovenia. 2022–23 ISU Junior Grand Prix
The 2022–23 ISU Junior Grand Prix was the 25th season of a series of junior international competitions organized by the International Skating Union. It is the junior-level complement to the 2022–23 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Skaters compete for medals in the disciplines of men's singles, women's singles, pairs, and ice dance, as well as for qualifying points. The top six from each discipline will qualify for the 2022–23 Junior Grand Prix Final, to be held together with the senior final. Competitions The locations of the JGP events change yearly. Claude-Michel Schönberg (born 6 July 1944, in Vannes) is a French record producer, actor, singer, songwriter, and musical theatre composer, best known for his collaborations with lyricist Alain Boublil. Andrew Lippa (born December 22, 1964) is an American composer, lyricist, book writer, performer, and producer. He is a resident artist at the Ars Nova Theater in New York City. Early life Lippa was born in Leeds, England, to English parents. He emigrated to the United States in October 1967 and grew up in Oak Park, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit. Lippa attended Oak Park High School and later the University of Michigan, where he studied vocal performance but eventually transferred into music education and received his bachelor's degree in music education. After graduating from college, Lippa moved to New York City in 1987 and became a middle school music teacher at Columbia Grammar and Prep School (CGPS) on the Upper West Side. The short program of figure skating is the first of two segments of competitions, skated before the free skating program. It lasts, for both senior and junior singles and pair skaters, 2 minutes and 40 seconds. In synchronized skating, for both juniors and seniors, the short program lasts 2 minutes and 50 seconds. The 2023 South Korean Figure Skating Championships was held from January 5–8, 2023 at the Uijeongbu Indoor Ice Rink in Uijeongbu. It was the 77th edition of the event.
