Dakar ( ; ; wo, Ndakaaru) (from daqaar ''tamarind''), is the capital and largest city of Senegal. The Senegal women's national basketball team is the national basketball team representing Senegal at world and continental basketball competitions for women. It is administered by the Fédération Sénégalaise de Basket-Ball. The Senegalese squad won 11 continental championships, as many as all other competitors combined. History The Senegalese women's national basketball team had won a medal at every FIBA Africa Championship for Women except for the initial one in 1966.
