Kang Ji-Wook
Kang Ji-wook (Hangul: 강지욱; born 7 July 1992) is a South Korean badminton player. He first came to international attention when he became the runner-up in three different events at the 2010 BWF World Junior Championships. He won the silver medal in the boys' singles, mixed doubles and mixed team event. He also won the gold medal in the boys' doubles event at the 2010 Asian Junior Badminton Championships, and at the same year, he competed at the Singapore Summer Youth Olympics where he won the boys' singles bronze. Choi Hye-in
Choi Hye-in (Hangul: 최혜인; born 8 August 1992) is a Korean badminton player who affiliated Daekyo badminton team since 2011, and later representing Incheon International Airport. Career Choi who educated at the Beomseo High School in Ulsan, was one of Korea's top junior players. She clinched three titles at the 2010 German Junior Open, winning the girls' singles, girls' doubles, and mixed doubles events. The same year, she was runner-up in mixed doubles at the 2010 World Junior Championships. She also represented Korea in the badminton at the Youth Olympic Games in Singapore. Viktor Axelsen
Viktor Axelsen (born 4 January 1994) is a Danish badminton player. He is the 2017 and 2022 World champion and the 2020 Olympic champion. He won the 2010 World Junior Championships, beating South Korea's Kang Ji-wook in the final to become the first ever European singles player to hold the title. Axelsen is a three-time European champion, having won the title in 2016, 2018 and 2022. Early life Axelsen was born in Odense, and at six years old, his father introduced him to badminton, playing the games at the Odense badminton club. The Singapore Indoor Stadium, known exonymously as the Indoor Stadium, is an indoor arena located in Kallang, Singapore. It is within walking distance of the Singapore National Stadium, and collectively form a part of the wider Singapore Sports Hub. Ma Jin
Ma Jin (; born 7 May 1988) is a badminton player from China who specialises in women's and mixed doubles. She partnered Wang Xiaoli in women's doubles and excelled in the category until 2010 when both players are split after China failed to defend their Uber Cup against South Korea in Kuala Lumpur. Consequently, Ma Jin was unable to continue competing in the women's doubles event without her regular partner and she had to concentrate on mixed doubles instead. Ma Jin had tasted successes in mixed with several partners, notably Zheng Bo, He Hanbin and Xu Chen. Her domination at the front of the court combined with the power play from Xu Chen made them one of the most dominant Chinese pairs to date, the other being Zhang Nan and Zhao Yunlei. Xu Chen
Xu Chen (; born 29 November 1984) is a badminton player from China. In 2010, he (along with his partner Guo Zhendong) was ranked within the top 10 men's badminton doubles in the world. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he competed in the mixed doubles with Ma Jin, winning the silver medal. In the final they lost to Zhang Nan and Zhao Yunlei, also from China. He married a former Chinese national badminton team player, Pan Pan on 3 June 2014.
