Choi Hye-in
Choi Hye-in (Hangul: 최혜인; born 8 August 1992) is a Korean badminton player who affiliated Daekyo badminton team since 2011, and later representing Incheon International Airport. Career Choi who educated at the Beomseo High School in Ulsan, was one of Korea's top junior players. She clinched three titles at the 2010 German Junior Open, winning the girls' singles, girls' doubles, and mixed doubles events. The same year, she was runner-up in mixed doubles at the 2010 World Junior Championships. She also represented Korea in the badminton at the Youth Olympic Games in Singapore. As a senior, she focused exclusively on doubles and played with various partners, reaching the 2012 Macau Open final with Kim So-yeong and the final of the 2013 Korea Grand Prix Gold with Kang Ji-wook. Badminton
Badminton is a racquet sport played using racquets to hit a shuttlecock across a net. Although it may be played with larger teams, the most common forms of the game are "singles" (with one player per side) and "doubles" (with two players per side). Badminton is often played as a casual outdoor activity in a yard or on a beach; formal games are played on a rectangular indoor court. Points are scored by striking the shuttlecock with the racquet and landing it within the opposing side's half of the court. Each side may only strike the shuttlecock once before it passes over the net. Play ends once the shuttlecock has struck the floor or if a fault has been called by the umpire, service judge, or (in their absence) the opposing side. The shuttlecock is a feathered or (in informal matches) plastic projectile which flies differently from the balls used in many other sports. Zhang Nan (badminton)
Zhang Nan (; born 1 March 1990) is a Chinese badminton player who specializes in both men's and mixed doubles. He found much success in mixed doubles with his former partner Zhao Yunlei. Kim So-young
Kim So-yeong (Hangul: 김소영; born 9 July 1992) is a South Korean badminton player. Kim, who attended the University of Incheon, was the triple crowns at the 2013 Summer Universiade, by winning the gold medals in the women's doubles, mixed doubles and team event. She competed at the 2014 Asian Games, clinched the silver medal in the women's team event. Together with Kong Hee-yong, she was awarded as the 2019 BWF Most Improved Player of the Year. The Badminton World Federation (BWF) is the international governing body for the sport of badminton recognised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). It was founded in 1934 as the International Badminton Federation (IBF) with nine member nations (Canada, Denmark, England, France, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Scotland and Wales). In 1981 the IBF merged with the World Badminton Federation, and on 24 September 2006, at the Extraordinary General Meeting in Madrid, the name of the organization was changed to Badminton World Federation (BWF). Bao Yixin
Bao Yixin (; born 29 September 1992) is a Chinese badminton doubles player. She won titles in the women's doubles category with many different partners. She won two World Junior titles at the 2010 BWF World Junior Championships held in Guadalajara, Mexico. In the girls' doubles event, she was crowned World Junior Champion with Ou Dongni and in the mixed doubles she was crowned with Liu Cheng. She also won the mixed doubles at the 2009 Asian Junior Championships with Lu Kai and the mixed doubles at the 2010 Asian Junior Championships with Liu Cheng. Liu Cheng (badminton)
Liu Cheng (; born 4 January 1992) is a retired badminton player who represented China. He was the men's doubles World Champion in 2017 partnered with Zhang Nan, also the mixed doubles World and Asian Junior Champion in 2010 with Bao Yixin. Liu was part of the national team member that won the team events at the 2015, 2021 Sudirman Cup, 2018 Thomas Cup and 2018 Asian Games. He reached a career high of world number 2 in both men's and mixed doubles events. He announced his retirement from the international tournament on 30 June 2022. Kang Ji-Wook
Kang Ji-wook (Hangul: 강지욱; born 7 July 1992) is a South Korean badminton player. He first came to international attention when he became the runner-up in three different events at the 2010 BWF World Junior Championships. He won the silver medal in the boys' singles, mixed doubles and mixed team event. He also won the gold medal in the boys' doubles event at the 2010 Asian Junior Badminton Championships, and at the same year, he competed at the Singapore Summer Youth Olympics where he won the boys' singles bronze. Tang Jinhua
Tang Jinhua (; born 8 January 1992) is a Chinese retired badminton player who competed at the highest level during the second decade of the 2000s, winning numerous women's doubles and occasional mixed doubles events with a variety of partners. She is a graduate of Hunan University. Career In 2009 Tang Jianhua won the World Junior girls double title with partner Xia Huan in Alor Setar, Malaysia. A year later in Guadalajara, Mexico they nearly repeated this success but fell in the finals to compatriots Bao Yixin and Ou Dongni. Tang and Xia also won girls' doubles at both the 2009 and 2010 Asian Junior Championships before graduating into elite level women's competition.
