Kalle Väinölä
Kalle Väinölä (born 15 December 1971) is a retired Finnish professional golfer who played on the Challenge Tour and European Tour 1995–2004. Career Väinölä's family moved to a new house adjacent to a golf course when he was two years old, and he took up the game when he was four. An all-round sportsman, he gave up golf when he was 13 to concentrate on tennis but he returned to the game at 17 and went on to play for his native Finland, winning the Finnish Amateur, the Greek Open Amateur and the European Club Cup. In 1992 he won the EGA Trophy representing continental Europe along with eight players including Thomas Bjørn and Niclas Fasth, against a Great Britain & Ireland team that included Pádraig Harrington. Väinölä turned professional in 1994 and won a Swedish Golf Tour card, which in turn brought him a Challenge Tour ranking. The 1997 European Tour was the 26th official season of golf tournaments known as the PGA European Tour. The season was made up of 34 tournaments counting for the Order of Merit, and several non-counting "Approved Special Events". Adam Mednick (born 9 September 1966) is a Swedish professional golfer. Early life Mednick was born in Bethesda, Maryland in the United States to an American father and a Swedish mother, and moved to Sweden when he was eight years old. His great-grandparents emigrated from Kiev in the Ukraine, and the authorities in the United States changed their family name from Mednikov to Mednick. Mårten Olander
Mårten Olander (born 5 November 1971) is a Sweden, Swedish professional golfer. Olander attended the University of Alabama for four years, and was awarded the Ben Hogan Award for the best college golfer in the United States in 1993. He turned professional in 1995, and joined the Challenge Tour in 1996, winning promotion to the European Tour in his debut season. He returned to the Challenge Tour for 1999, and spent three further seasons there before winning his first professional tournament at the 2001 Hardelot Challenge de France, sealing his return to the full European Tour. He spent a further five seasons at the highest level, before a dramatic slump in form saw him make only three cuts in 2006, since when he has played rarely. Mikael Piltz
Mikael Piltz (born 10 May 1967) is a Finnish professional golfer who played on the Challenge Tour and briefly on the European Tour. Career Piltz turned professional in 1989 and played on the Swedish Golf Tour. He then joined the Challenge Tour, where he was runner-up at the 1992 Volvo Finnish Open before winning the 1994 Volvo Finnish Open, following a playoff with Joakim Grönhagen. The win earned him an invitation to the 1995 Sarazen World Open at Chateau Elan Legends course in Braselton, Georgia. He made 11 starts and 5 cuts on the 1994 European Tour, finding himself back on the Challenge Tour, where he was runner-up at the 2001 Russian Open behind Jamie Donaldson.
