Kalle Brink
Karl Henrik Brink (born 12 August 1975) is a Swedish professional golfer who has played on the European Tour and the Challenge Tour. Brink was born in Helsingborg, Sweden. His sister, Maria, is also a professional golfer, who has competed on the Ladies European Tour. In 1993, Brink was member of the Swedish team winning the European Boys' Team Championship in Ascona, Switzerland. He also represented Sweden at the 1994 Espirito Santo Trophy at Le Golf National, outside Paris, France, earning a bronze medal with his team. Brink turned professional in 1994. He has three wins on Europe's second tier Challenge Tour, the first coming in 1997 at the BTC Slovenian Open, when he went on to finish the season in second place on the 1997 Challenge Tour money list. His second win was at the 1999 Öhrlings Swedish Matchplay, were he beat Henrik Stenson in the final. His third win came in 2006 at the Lexus Open. Helsingborg (, , , ) is a city and the seat of Helsingborg Municipality, Scania (Skåne), Sweden. St Andrews Trophy
The St Andrews Trophy is a biennial men's team golf tournament contested between teams of amateur golfers representing Great Britain & Ireland and the Continent of Europe. It takes its name from St Andrews in Scotland. It was first played in 1956 and takes place in even-numbered years; Great Britain & Ireland plays in the United States in the Walker Cup in odd-numbered years. It is staged alternately in Great Britain & Ireland and on the Continent, and is organised by The R&A (an offshoot of The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews) and the European Golf Association. 1994 Eisenhower Trophy
The 1994 Eisenhower Trophy took place 6 to 9 October on the Albatros course at Le Golf National and on La Vallée course at La Boulie near Versailles, France. It was the 19th World Amateur Team Championship for the Eisenhower Trophy. The tournament was a 72-hole stroke play team event with 45 four-man teams. The best three scores for each round counted towards the team total. Initially each team played one round on each of the two courses. The leading 24 teams then played two further rounds at Le Golf National while the remaining teams played two rounds at La Boulie. The United States won the Eisenhower Trophy for the first time since 1982, finishing 11 strokes ahead of the silver medalists, Great Britain and Ireland. Eisenhower Trophy
The Eisenhower Trophy (World Men's Amateur Team Championships) is the biennial World Amateur Team Championship for men organized by the International Golf Federation. Since the tournament was first played in 1958, it is named after Dwight D. Eisenhower, the President of the United States at the time, who was a keen amateur golfer. The equivalent competition for women is the Espirito Santo Trophy. Results The 1958 championship resulted in a tie. There was an 18-hole playoff which Australia won with a score of 222 to the United States 224. From 1958 to 2000 the teams had four players with the best three scores counting for each round. From 2002 the teams have been three players with two counting. The 2004, 2010 and 2012 championships were reduced to 54 holes because of bad weather. Jacques Léglise Trophy
The Jacques Léglise Trophy is an annual amateur boys' team golf competition between Great Britain & Ireland and the Continent of Europe. It was first played in 1977, as a one-day match before the Boys Amateur Championship, but since 1996 it has been played as a separate two-day match. The venue generally alternates between Great Britain and Ireland and the continent. Flommen Golf Club
Flommen Golf Club is a links golf club located in Falsterbo, Skåne County in Sweden. It has hosted the PLM Open on the European Tour. History The club was established in 1935 which makes it the country's 19th oldest golf club. It is located on Sweden's southwestern tip, along the Baltic Sea, adjacent to Falsterbo Golf Club and near Ljunghusen Golf Club. Jan-Are Larsen
Jan-Are Larsen (born 18 May 1976) is a Norwegian professional golfer. Having shown promise as an amateur golfer, Larsen earned a scholarship to play on the golf team at the University of Alabama. Upon graduating in 2002, he entered qualifying school for the European Tour as an amateur, and was successful in claiming the fifth card for the full tour. However, his debut professional season was a struggle, making only seven cuts and failing to retain his card. Since then, Larsen has progressed to the European Tour twice more via qualifying school, but has mostly played on the second-tier Challenge Tour, where he has recorded two runner-up finishes. His best season on the European Tour has been 2008, when he finished 146th in the Order of Merit. Larsen also has two professional wins on the Scandinavian Nordic League circuit. José Manuel Carriles
José Manuel Carriles Corino (born 12 May 1963) is a Spanish professional golfer. Early life Carriles was born in Pedreña in northern Spain, the birthplace of the late Seve Ballesteros. Like Ballesteros, he learned the game on the beach, where he and some friends shared a half set of clubs. Golf was always in the blood, his father caddied at the local course and his mother also worked there. He was forbidden to play at the club except once a year in the caddies' competition, so as a youngster he used to climb the fence at the furthest point of the course for some secret practice. Career Carriles turned professional in 1983, and earned his European Tour card for the first time at the 1991 Qualifying School. 2006 Challenge Tour
The 2006 Challenge Tour was the 18th season of the Challenge Tour, the official development tour to the European Tour. The tour started as the Satellite Tour with its first Order of Merit rankings in 1989 and was officially renamed as the Challenge Tour at the start of the 1990 season. The Challenge Tour Rankings were won by Wales' Mark Pilkington. Frenchman Adrien Mörk shot the first 59 in the history of the PGA European Tour's three tours at the Tikida Hotels Agadir Moroccan Classic.
