José Berraondo
José Angel Berraondo Insausti (born 4 November 1878 in San Sebastián and died 11 April 1950) was a Spanish footballer, referee and manager. He was one of the most important figures of Spain's football at the beginning and middle of the 20th century, as a player, captain, club founder, manager, referee, director, vice-president and even as a national coach. Berraondo was one of the most important figures in the amateur beginnings of Real Madrid, then known as ''Madrid CF'', serving as its captain from 1904 until 1909, and thus playing a crucial role in Madrid's four consecutive Copa del Rey titles between 1905 and 1908. In addition to being the team captain, he was also the vice-president of ''Los Merengues'', even holding the interim presidency of Madrid FC for a few months. 1908 Copa Del Rey
The Copa del Rey 1908 was the 6th staging of the Copa del Rey, the Spanish football cup competition. It started and ended on 12 April. Athletic Bilbao refused to enter to protest the behaviour of Madrid supporters at some games of the previous tournament. Other teams invited, like the Catalan champion X Sporting Club, declined the invitation for economic reasons. Ultimately, only two teams were entered: Madrid FC and Real Vigo Sporting. The tournament was won by Madrid FC, who claimed their fourth Cup title in a row. They beat Vigo Sporting 2–1 in the final thanks to goals from Antonio Neyra and Federico Revuelto. Club Ciclista De San Sebastián
Club Ciclista de San Sebastián was a cycling club based in San Sebastián, Basque Country, Spain. In 1909 the football section won the Copa del Rey. A few months after this victory, the players who had won the tournament founded the club that would later become Real Sociedad. History The San Sebastián Cycling Club was founded in February 1907 as a sports club dedicated to the practice of cycling, which had a great following in the city at that time. The main promoter of this hobby was Julián Comet, a French citizen who had settled in the city at the end of the 19th century. The Campeonato Regional Centro ( Spanish for Central Regional Championship) was an important annual association football competition for clubs based primarily in the Castile region of Spain, including the Community of Madrid, during the first half of the 20th century. Armando Giralt Iduate (23 March 1885 - 21 April 1948) was a Cuban-born Spanish footballer who played as a forward for Madrid FC, Club Español de Madrid and RCD Espanyol. He was a member of some of the oldest football entities in Spain, such as Sky Football, Madrid Football Club and the Club Deportivo Español, being a founding member of the first two together with his older brothers José and Mario, who were also footballers. Pedro Parages Diego-Madrazo (17 December 1883 – 15 February 1950) was a Franco-Spanish footballer, manager, and the 5th President of Real Madrid from July 1916 until 16 May 1926. Manuel Yarza (1884 – Unknown) was a Spanish footballer who played as a midfielder who played for Madrid FC (now known as Real Madrid). Along with his brother Joaquín Yarza, he was a historic member of Madrid FC and won the Copa del Rey four times in a row, between 1905 and 1908.
