Joy Van
Thin Chen Enterprise (full name Sheng Qian Enterprise Co., Ltd ()), also known as Sachen, was a Taiwanese company that developed several original games for the Nintendo Entertainment System, NES, Mega Drive, Game Boy and other early cartridge-based Handheld game console, handheld systems such as the Watara Supervision and Mega Duck. With the exception of the latter two handhelds, all of Thin Chen's games were produced without license from the console manufacturers. The company produced at least 70 unique games for the NES and Famicom and at least 32 for the Game Boy (compiled into eight 4-in-1 cartridges), making it the most prolific unlicensed developer and publisher for both consoles. The company also produced its own Nintendo Entertainment System hardware clones, such as the Q-Boy. Princess Maker
is a series of social simulation bishōjo games where the player must act as a parental figure and raise a young girl. The series was produced by the video game and anime production company Gainax. The first ''Princess Maker'', while popular enough to be translated into Chinese, was never released in the United States. ''Princess Maker 2'' was translated by SoftEgg for a North American release, but this release was cancelled because publisher Intracorp went bankrupt. The Game of the Goose or goose game is a board game where two or more players move pieces around a track by rolling one or two dice. Metal Gear (video Game)
is an action-adventure stealth video game developed and published by Konami for the MSX2. It was released for the system in Japan and parts of Europe in 1987. Considered the game to popularize the stealth game genre, it was the first video game to be fully developed by Hideo Kojima, who would go on to direct most of the games in the ''Metal Gear'' series. , released in Europe as ''Battle Rangers'', is a run and gun arcade game released by Data East in 1988. Two commandos take on an entire army with many weapons, and defeat bosses to advance levels. Plot Snake and Eagle, two commandos of the Bloody Wolf special forces, receive instructions from their commander to destroy the enemy's weapon base and rescue any allies who have been reported missing in action, as well as the President. In the ''Battle Rangers'' version, their commander is a Secretary of State and the instructions are simply "save the top urgent crisis of our nation." In the end, the Colonel tells Snake and Eagle that their next mission is to rescue the President once again; however, after having decided to "party it up tonight", the men decline to take the mission and abandon the Colonel. is a 1981 fixed shooter arcade video game developed and published by Namco. In North America, it was released by Midway Manufacturing. It is the sequel to ''Galaxian'' (1979), Namco's first major video game hit in arcades. Controlling a starship, the player is tasked with destroying the Galaga forces in each stage while avoiding enemies and projectiles. Some enemies can capture a player's ship via a tractor beam, which can be rescued to transform the player into a "dual fighter" with additional firepower. Shigeru Yokoyama led development with a small team. Initial planning took about two months to finish.
