Josh Suggs
Joshua Taylor Suggs (born April 26, 1989 in Las Cruces, New Mexico) is an American soccer player who currently plays for New Mexico United in the USL Championship. He can play as either a left back or as a centre half. Career Youth and Amateur Suggs attended Las Cruces High School, and was a member of the New Mexico Olympic Development Program (ODP) State Team for five years, before going on to play four years of college soccer at Humboldt State University. With the Jacks he earned honorable mention All-CCAA honors as a sophomore in 2008, was an NSCAA Division II All-West Region third-team selection and a second-team All-CCAA honoree as a junior in 2009 and again as a senior in 2010. He captained the team in his senior year in 2010. Orange County Soccer Club is an American soccer team based in the Orange County, California city of Irvine. Founded in 2010 as the Los Angeles Blues, the team currently plays in the second tier USL Championship. The 2013 season was the Atlanta Silverbacks's seventeenth season of existence, and their third consecutive season playing in the North American Soccer League, the second division of the American soccer pyramid. Background The Atlanta Silverbacks' 2012 season was a tale of two halves. In their first 15 games they only managed 8 points, through 1 win, 5 draws and 9 losses. In their final 13 games they gather 22 points in 6 wins, 4 draws and 3 losses (a league best). The Atlanta Silverbacks FC were an American professional soccer club based in Atlanta, Georgia. Founded in 1998 as Atlanta Ruckus, the club played in many leagues over the years before folding after the 2015 season. The team played its home games at Atlanta Silverbacks Park, a large soccer complex featuring a 5,000-seat soccer-specific stadium in Atlanta, 15 miles northeast of downtown. The team's colors were red, black, grey, and white. The club had 2 independent supporter groups, Westside 109 and the Atlanta Ultras. The Ultras were established in 2011 & were known to support both the Silverbacks men's and women's side. The Ultras were also to be known for their fanatical support at Silverbacks Park, as well as away matches. The 2012 Tampa Bay Rowdies season was the current Tampa Bay Rowdies' third season of existence, and second in the North American Soccer League. Including the original Rowdies franchise and the Tampa Bay Mutiny, this was the 25th season of a professional soccer team fielded in the Tampa Bay region. Background After their first season, the FC Tampa Bay Rowdies were forced by Classic Ink to discontinue use of the "Rowdies" name, resulting in their name being FC Tampa Bay.
