Orange County Blues FC
Orange County Soccer Club is an American soccer team based in the Orange County, California city of Irvine. Founded in 2010 as the Los Angeles Blues, the team currently plays in the second tier USL Championship. The team plays its home games at Championship Soccer Stadium, located inside Great Park in Irvine. History The then Los Angeles Blues were founded by Iranian-American businessman Ali Mansouri in 1998 and announced as a USL Pro expansion franchise on December 7, 2010. The team was associated with the United Soccer Leagues W-League team LA Blues, and is part of the larger Orange County Blues organization, which has competed in Los Angeles-area amateur leagues since 1998. Kenney Walker
Kenneth "Kenney" Walker (born December 23, 1988) is an American professional association football, soccer player. Early life Kenney Walker was born on December 23, 1988, in Wickliffe, Ohio to Mark Walker and Dawn Hoban. He attended Wickliffe High School, where he played soccer for his senior year. That season, he scored seven goals and helped Wickliffe finish with an 18–4–1 record. He was recognized locally as the boys soccer player of the year by both ''The News-Herald (Ohio), The News-Herald'' and ''The Plain Dealer, The Cleveland Plain Dealer''. Walker matriculated to the University of Louisville in 2007. Nathan Shiffman (born December 9, 1991) is an American professional soccer player and entrepreneur. Career Early career Shiffman played college soccer at Virginia Commonwealth University between 2010 and 2013. While at college he also appeared for USL PDL club Fredericksburg Hotspur in 2012. Kyle Greig (born February 22, 1990) is an American soccer player who plays as a forward. Career Greig played four years of college soccer at Benedictine College between 2008 and 2011. He also played for USL PDL club Kansas City Brass between 2010 and 2012. Greig signed his first professional contract with USL Pro club Wilmington Hammerheads in April 2013. He made his debut and scored his first professional goal on April 19, 2013, during a 2-0 victory over Antigua Barracuda FC. After two seasons with Oklahoma City Energy, Greig signed with Whitecaps FC 2 on January 29, 2016. He made the move to the Whitecaps senior team in Major League Soccer on December 19, 2016. Cesar Rivera Samaniego (born August 25, 1986 in Pomona, California) is an American retired soccer player. Career College and amateur Rivera played college soccer at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, California, where he was a junior college Second Team All-American. Stephen Okai (born 27 September 1989) is a former Ghanaian footballer and current coach. Career College & Amateur Okai played four years of college soccer at the University of Mobile. Okai won the National Player of the Year award in NAIA and was a three-time All-American.
