Joseph Phan
Joseph Phan (born August 4, 2001) is a retired Canadian figure skater. At the 2018 World Junior Championships, he won a small bronze medal for his free skate and placed fourth overall. He is the 2017 JGP Croatia Cup silver medalist, the 2018 JGP Czech Skate bronze medallist and 2016 Canadian national junior champion. Personal life Phan was born on August 4, 2001, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and is ¾ Vietnamese and ¼ Chinese. He lived in Outaouais and attended École Internationale du Mont-Bleu before moving, in September 2012, to Saint-Leonard, where he attended École primaire Pie-XII. He moved to Laval, Quebec in 2013. Outaouais
Outaouais (, ; also commonly called The Outaouais) is a region of western Quebec, Canada. It includes the city of Gatineau, the municipality of Val-des-Monts and the Papineau region. Nam Nguyen
Nam Nguyen (born May 20, 1998) is a Canadian retired competitive figure skater. He is the 2014 World Junior champion, 2019 Skate Canada silver medallist, and two-time Canadian national champion (2015, 2019). He has placed as high as fifth at the World Championships, in 2015. Personal life Nam Nguyen was born May 20, 1998 in Ottawa. Both of his parents are from Vietnam — his father, Sony, moved to Canada in 1988 and sponsored his wife, Thu, in 1994. His father is an engineer and his mother works for a medical software company. His sister, Kim, is six years younger and is also a figure skater. He lived in Richmond, British Columbia and Burnaby, B.C. from 1999 to 2012, and then moved to Toronto, Ontario, so that he and his sister could train under Brian Orser. Nicolas Nadeau
Nicolas Nadeau (born September 30, 1997) is a Canadian competitive figure skater. As a singles skater, he is the 2016 World Junior silver medallist and the 2015 Canadian national junior champion. Personal life Nadeau was born on September 30, 1997, in Montreal, Quebec. He has three older sisters – Tania, Pamela, and Mélissa. He enjoys skiing in addition to figure skating. Alexei Dmitriyevich Krasnozhon (russian: Алексей Дмитриевич Красножон; born April 11, 2000) is a Russian-American former competitive figure skater. Competing for the United States, he is the 2017 CS Tallinn Trophy silver medalist, 2017 Junior Grand Prix Final champion, and 2017 U.S. national junior champion. Krasnozhon skated for Russia earlier in his career, making his last international appearance in December 2013. Personal life Krasnozhon was born on April 11, 2000, in Saint Petersburg, Russia. 2017 Canadian Figure Skating Championships
The 2017 Canadian Tire National Skating Championships was held January 16–22, 2017 in Ottawa, Ontario. It was organized by Skate Canada and sponsored by Canadian Tire. The event determined the national champions of Canada. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dancing on the senior, junior, and novice levels. Although the official International Skating Union terminology for female skaters in the singles category is ''ladies'', Skate Canada uses ''women'' officially. Ljubljana

2016–17 ISU Junior Grand Prix
The 2016–17 ISU Junior Grand Prix was the 20th season of a series of junior international competitions organized by the International Skating Union. It was the junior-level complement to the 2016–17 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Skaters competed for medals in the disciplines of men's single skating, singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dance, as well as for qualifying points. The top six skaters or teams from each discipline met at the 2016–17 Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final, 2016–17 Junior Grand Prix Final, which was held together with the senior final.
