Jayin Panesar
Jayin Panesar (born October 10, 2003) is a British ice dancer who currently competes for Brazil with Natalia Pallu-Neves. With Pallu-Neves, he is the 2022 British national junior bronze medalist. They began representing Brazil in the 2022–23 season, becoming the first Brazilian ice dancers to ever compete in the senior level. He previously represented Great Britain with Pallu-Neves at the junior level, and with Emily Phillips at the novice level. Career Early career Panesar began skating at around age seven. Initially he focused on ice hockey, but he later switched to figure skating and tried ice dancing after a coach's suggestion. He teamed up with Emily Phillips for the 2013–14 season. They won their first national medal, a bronze at the 2016 British Championships in the novice level, winning the event three years later. 2024 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships
The 2024 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships will be held from January 30 to February 4, 2024 in Shanghai, China. Medals will be awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dance. Nations from non-European countries can send three entries at most for every discipline. Four Continents Figure Skating Championships
The Four Continents Figure Skating Championships (4CC) is an annual figure skating competition. The International Skating Union established it in 1999 to provide skaters representing non-African and non-European countries with a similar competition to the much older European Figure Skating Championships. The event's name refers to North America and South America are both the Americas, Asia and Oceania (four of the continents represented in the Olympic rings, omitting Africa and Europe). Medals are awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pairs, and ice dance. Historically, the 4CC has been dominated by just four countries – Canada, China, Japan, and the United States – which have won a combined 267 out of 276 possible medals. The ISU Challenger Series is a series of international figure skating competitions. Established by the International Skating Union in the 2014–15 season, it is a group of senior-level events ranked below the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Egna Trophy
The Egna Spring Trophy, formerly the Gardena Spring Trophy (through 2016), is an annual international figure skating competition. It is held every spring in Val Gardena in Italy.
