Japeth Aguilar
Japeth Paul Cabrera Aguilar (born January 25, 1987) is a Filipino professional basketball player for the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He first played college basketball for the Ateneo Blue Eagles of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), but after two seasons, he moved to the Western Kentucky University Hilltoppers in the Division I (NCAA), Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association in the United States. College career UAAP Japeth Aguilar suited up as a college freshman for the Ateneo de Manila University Ateneo Blue Eagles, Blue Eagles in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines in UAAP Season 67, 2004. The Barangay Ginebra San Miguel is a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). The most popular team in the league, it is owned by Ginebra San Miguel, Inc. (formerly, La Tondeña Distillers, Inc.), a subsidiary of the San Miguel Corporation (SMC). 2013 PBA All-Star Weekend
The 2013 PBA All-Star Weekend was the annual all-star weekend of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA)'s 2012–13 PBA season. The events were held from May 1 to 6, 2013 at the Davao del Sur Coliseum, Digos City, Davao del Sur. Highlighting the weekend was the Gilas Pilipinas vs. PBA All-Stars game, which was held at the final day of the weekend. The PBA All-Star Game is an exhibition game hosted annually by the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA), matching the league's star players using various formats. It is the featured event of PBA All-Star Weekend. The All-Star game was first staged at The ULTRA on June 4, 1989. The starting lineup for each squad is selected by a fan ballot, while the reserves are chosen by a vote among the head coaches of the league's teams. If a selected player is injured and cannot participate, the league officials select a replacement.
