The 2019 PBA All-Star Weekend was the annual all-star weekend of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA)'s 2019 season. The events were held at the Calasiao Sports Complex in Calasiao, Pangasinan. Highlighting the weekend will be the return of the North vs. South format of the All-Star game. Calasiao
Calasiao, officially the Municipality of Calasiao ( pag, Baley na Calasiao; ilo, Ili ti Calasiao; tgl, Bayan ng Calasiao), is a 1st class municipality in the province of Pangasinan, Philippines. Jason Andre Perkins (born September 20, 1992) is a Filipino-American professional basketball player for the Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). Personal life Perkins is the youngest of three siblings. His father is an African-American, while his mother, Jennifer (''née'' Cahigas), is a Filipina, who hails from Bolinao, Pangasinan. RR Pogoy
Roger Ray Bacusmo Pogoy (born June 16, 1992) is a Filipino professional basketball player for the TNT Tropang Giga of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He has also represented the Philippines national team in international competitions. Early life and college career Pogoy grew up in Talisay, Cebu and was taught basketball by his father, who was a former basketball player in Mindanao. In high school, he started as a Team B player. Matthew Wright (basketball)
Matthew Andrew Christopher Wright (born February 7, 1991) is a Filipino-Canadian professional basketball player for Kyoto Hannaryz of the Japanese B.League. He played college basketball at St. Bonaventure University. He has since become an ABL champion, a two-time PBA All-Star, and a member of Gilas Pilipinas. In college, Wright helped lead the St. Bonaventure Bonnies to an Atlantic 10 championship and into the 2012 NCAA tournament. In his senior season, he led the team in scoring. Chris Gavina
Christian Gavina (born January 27, 1979) is a Filipino professional basketball coach. He served as the head coach of the Taichung Suns in the T1 League. Early life and college career Gavina was born in the Philippines and migrated to Jersey City, New Jersey when he was three years old. He played college basketball for the Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey. He finished second in all-time scoring for the school and have his jersey number retired after his graduation in 2001. Raymar A. Jose is a Filipino professional basketball player for the Meralco Bolts of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He was selected 3rd overall by Blackwater Elite in the 2017 PBA draft. Early life and high school career Jose's love for basketball began on his barangay's basketball court in Negros Occidental, where he played against his uncles and learned how to play the sport. The Meralco Bolts is a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association. The team began in 2010 after the Manila Electric Company (MERALCO) acquired the PBA franchise of the Sta. The NLEX Road Warriors is a professional basketball team owned by NLEX Corporation, a subsidiary of Metro Pacific Investments Corporation, currently playing in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) since the 2014–2015 season.
