J. D. Lind
James Douglas Lind (born February 19, 1985) is a Canadian curler and coach. He led three different Japanese curling club teams at Olympic Games in 2014 Sochi and in 2018 PyeongChang as the national coach, and brought five bronze medals to Japanese women's team in 2018. Career As a player Lind started his career as a curler at junior teams. He is the runner up skip position at Twin Anchors Houseboats Vacations / Prestige Inn Classic in 2004. He is the winner of 2011 World Financial Group Classic as the third position of Team Virtue. In 2012, he got silver medals at Boston Pizza Cup as the third of Team Virtue and at HDF Insurance Shoot-Out as the third of Team Thomas. The women's curling tournament of the 2014 Winter Olympics was held at the Ice Cube Curling Center in Sochi, Russia on 10–20 February 2014. Ten nations competed in the round robin preliminary round, and the top four nations at the conclusion of the round robin qualified for the medal round. South Korea made their Olympic debut in curling. A new Olympic record was established when Great Britain scored seven points in one end against the United States. Great Britain also equalled the record for total points scored in one game, scoring twelve points against the United States and against Japan. Canada, skipped by Jennifer Jones, became the first women's rink to go through an Olympic tournament undefeated. Sapporo

Canadian Junior Curling Championships
The Canadian Junior Curling Championships is an annual curling tournament held to determine the best junior-level curling team in Canada. Junior level curlers must be under the age of 21 as of June 30 in the year prior to the tournament. The event began in 1950 as the National Schoolboys Championship, and all members of a team had to attend the same high school. Efforts to establish the event were led by Ken Watson, Maurice Smith and others. From 1950 to 1957, teams played for the Victor Sifton Trophy. Sifton's newspaper chain was the sponsor of the event during this time. From 1958 to 1975 the event was sponsored by Pepsi and was known as the Pepsi Schoolboys, becoming the Pepsi Juniors in 1976. At that time, the age limit of the event was adjusted to match the eligibility for the World Junior Curling Championships which began in 1975. Charley Thomas
Charley M. Thomas (born April 4, 1986 in Victoria, British Columbia) is a Canadian curler from Calgary who currently skips his own rink on the World Curling Tour. Curling career Thomas started his career with an Alberta Provincial Junior title in 2004 and made his debut on the national and international curling scene representing Alberta and winning the 2006 Canadian Junior Curling Championships (Thunder Bay, Ontario) and 2006 World Junior Curling Championships (Jeonju, Korea). Thomas and team also qualified for the 2007 Canadian Junior Curling Championships by winning the 2007 Alberta Junior Provincials at the Granite Curling Club in Edmonton, Alberta. The Saville Shootout is an annual curling tournament, held in September at the Saville Community Sports Centre in Edmonton, Alberta. Boston Pizza Cup
The Boston Pizza Cup is the Alberta provincial championship for men's curling, run by Curling Alberta. The winner represents Team Alberta at the national men's championship, called the Tim Hortons Brier. Currently sponsored by restaurant chain Boston Pizza, under former sponsors, the championship was known as the Alberta Kia Cup and the Safeway Select. Brock Virtue
Brock Virtue (born September 21, 1986) is a Canadian curler. He currently plays third on Team Charley Thomas. He is a former Canadian and World Junior Curling Champion. Born in Lethbridge, Alberta, raised in from Regina, Saskatchewan, Virtue's junior career involved winning two provincial junior championships, a Canadian championship and a World championship.
