Ingrid Lindblad
Karin Ingrid Andrea Lindblad (born 11 April 2000) is a Swedish amateur golfer. She won the 2021 European Ladies Amateur. In 2022, she set the amateur 18-hole scoring record at the U.S. Women's Open posting a six-under 65 and was part of the Swedish team winning the World Amateur Team Championship for the Espirito Santo Trophy. She rose to number 2 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking in August 2020, and ascended to number 1 in June 2023. Career Lindblad grew up in Halmstad and joined the Swedish National Team in 2017. She represented her country at the European Girls' Team Championship, were Sweden won the bronze in 2018. She was then part of the Swedish teams that won the European Ladies' Team Championship in 2019 and 2020, teamed with Frida Kinhult, Sara Kjellker, Maja Stark, Linn Grant, and Beatrice Wallin. Junior Ryder Cup
The Junior Ryder Cup is a team golf competition between Europe and the United States for junior golfers aged 18 and under. It is based on the men's Ryder Cup and is run by the same organisations, the PGA of America and Ryder Cup Europe. The 2018 event took place at Golf Disneyland, Marne-la-Vallée, Paris, France on Monday 24 and Tuesday 25 September. The United States won 12–11, their sixth successive victory in the event. Format The teams consist of six boys and six girls. From 2008 to 2018 the tournament was played over two days of foursomes, fourball and singles matches. There were three boys' matches and three girls' foursomes matches and six mixed fourball matches on the first day. Alexandra Försterling
Alexandra Försterling (born 27 November 1999) is a German professional golfer and Ladies European Tour player. She won the 2023 VP Bank Swiss Ladies Open. As an amateur, she won the 2014 European Young Masters and was runner-up at the 2020 European Ladies' Team Championship and the 2021 European Ladies Amateur. Amateur career Försterling became a member of the German National Team in 2014, the year in which she won the European Young Masters both individually and with the team. European Ladies Amateur Championship
The European Ladies Amateur Championship is an annual amateur golf tournament. It is organized by the European Golf Association and is one of the "elite" tournaments recognized by the World Amateur Golf Ranking. The championship was first played in 1986 and was called the International European Ladies Amateur Championship until 2015. There have been 33 editions contested so far, with many past winners and medallists of this championship are now members of the professional ranks. Rose Zhang (born May 24, 2003) is an American amateur golfer. She won the 2020 U.S. Women's Amateur and the 2022 NCAA Division I Championship. She competed in the 2019 U.S. Women's Open and was on the gold medal team at the 2019 Pan American Games. Personal life Zhang was born in Arcadia, California and resides in Irvine, California. The Skaftö Open is a professional golf tournament on the Ladies European Tour (LET). The tournament is played in Sweden at Skaftö Golf Club in Fiskebäckskil, north of Gothenburg. The Swedish Golf Tour (SGT) for women, from 2021 synonymous with the Nordic Golf Tour (NGT) and from 2022 branded the Ahlsell Nordic Golf Tour, is a professional golf tour operated in cooperation by the golf federations in Denmark and Norway and Sweden. The NGT is on the third level of international golf tours, below the Ladies European Tour (LET) and the LET Access Series (LETAS). For 2022 all six scheduled tournaments are included in the LETAS. Madelene Maria Sagström (born 13 November 1992) is a Swedish professional golfer who plays on the U.S.-based LPGA Tour. She won the 2020 Gainbridge LPGA at Boca Rio and was runner-up at the 2021 Women's British Open. The ANNIKA Invitational Europe is an annual amateur golf tournament in Sweden for European girls under 18.
