ICC Africa
The Africa Cricket Association (ACA) is an international body which coordinates the development of cricket in Africa. The ACA was founded in 1997, and has 23 member countries. The role of the ACA includes promoting the development of cricket in Africa and organising some regional tournaments. These have included the 2022 ACA Africa T20 Cup, ACA Africa T20 Cup and the ICC Africa Women's Twenty20 Championship, Africa Women's Twenty20 Championship, as well as intercontinental tournaments like the Afro-Asia Cup. The role of the ACA is complementary to the International Cricket Council (ICC), which organises the regional qualifying tournaments for global events. ICC Africa Women's Twenty20 Championship
The ICC Africa Women's T20 Championship is an international cricket tournament contested between the national women's sides from the African development region of the International Cricket Council (ICC). The first African regional tournament for women's teams was played in Tanzania in 2004, and known simply as the Women's Championship. The next two regional tournaments, in 2006 and 2010, served as part of the qualification process for the Women's World Cup. All matches prior to 2011 were played in the 50-over format (as used in One Day Internationals), but since then, the Twenty20 format has been used, with the tournament played annually. The winners in even-numbered years (so far, 2012 and 2014) proceed to a qualification tournament for the Women's World Twenty20. Rwanda Cricket Association is the official governing body of cricket sports in Rwanda. Its current headquarters is located in kicukiro district in Kigali city . Fédération Malienne De Cricket
The Malian Cricket Federation (french: Fédération Malienne de Cricket, FeMaCrik) became an associate member of the International Cricket Council in 2017. The Malian Cricket Federation was co-founded by Mr Kawory Berthe, a Malian English-teacher and Dr Phil Watson from Wales, in 2003. The first-ever cricket tournament in Mali was held in 2003 between different classes at Kalanso school, where Kawory Berthe was the English teacher and Phil Watson's children were enrolled. After three years of growing the game, the remodeled FeMaCrick became Mali's 25th officially recognised sports federation.
