Royal Moroccan Cricket Federation
The Royal Moroccan Cricket Federation (french: Federation Royale Marocaine de Cricket; FRMC) is the official governing body of the sport of cricket in Morocco. It responsible for the selection of the Moroccan national team and the operation of Moroccan leagues. Its current headquarters is in Rabat, Morocco. The federation is Morocco's representative at the International Cricket Council of which it has been an affiliate member since 1999. It is also a member of the African Cricket Association, and falls into the ICC Africa development region. In July 2019, the International Cricket Council (ICC) expelled the Royal Moroccan Cricket Federation, after continuing to be non-compliant with various membership requirements of the ICC. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. The batting side scores runs by striking the ball bowled at one of the wickets with the bat and then running between the wickets, while the bowling and fielding side tries to prevent this (by preventing the ball from leaving the field, and getting the ball to either wicket) and dismiss each batter (so they are "out"). Morocco National Cricket Team
The Moroccan national cricket team was the team that represented the Kingdom of Morocco in international cricket. The team is operated by Federation Royale Marocaine De Cricket. In April 2018, the ICC decided to grant full Twenty20 International (T20I) status to all its members. Therefore, any Twenty20 matches played between Morocco and other ICC members after 1 January 2019 would have been full T20I, though prior to July 2019 Morocco had not participated in any T20I matches. Owing to violations against the ICC constitution, Morocco were expelled from the ICC in July 2019.
