Ivan Štironja
Ivan Štironja (born 10 May 1960) is a Croatian prelate of the Catholic Church who serves as the bishop of Poreč-Pula since 2023. He previously briefly served as the bishop of Kotor in Montenegro, from 2021 to 2023. Originally from the village of Pješivac near Stolac, Štironja was ordained as a priest of the Diocese of Trebinje-Mrkan in 1986. Since then, he dedicated himself to missionary work, spending time in Tanzania from 1988 to 1992 and then among the Croatian community in Canada from 1993 to 1996. Štiornja then went to Padua in Italy, specialising in pastoral liturgy from 1996 to 1998 and at the same time working with the Croatian community there. The bishop of Mostar-Duvno Ratko Perić invited him to the new post of the parish priest of the Mostar cathedral, where he served from 1998 to 2002 when he was appointed the diocesan vicar for pastoral care, a post he held until 2011. The Most Reverend
The Most Reverend is a style applied to certain religious figures, primarily within the historic denominations of Christianity, but occasionally in some more modern traditions also. It is a variant of the more common style "The Reverend". Anglican In the Anglican Communion, the style is applied to archbishops (including those who, for historical reasons, bear an alternative title, such as presiding bishop), rather than the style "The Right Reverend" which is used by other bishops. "The Most Reverend" is used by both primates (the senior archbishop of each independent national or regional church) and metropolitan archbishops (as metropolitan of an ecclesiastical province within a national or regional church). Kotor
Kotor (Montenegrin Cyrillic: Котор, ), historically known as Cattaro (from Italian: ), is a coastal town in Montenegro. It is located in a secluded part of the Bay of Kotor. Roman Catholic Diocese Of Trebinje-Mrkan
The Diocese of Trebinje-Mrkan ( la, Diocesis Tribuniensis-Marcanensis) is a particular church of the Catholic Church in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Established in the 10th century, is the oldest Catholic diocese in Bosnia and Herzegovina. By the number of faithful, it is also the smallest. Its seat is in Trebinje. Petar Palić
Petar Palić (born 3 July 1972) is a prelate of the Catholic Church who is currently the bishop of Mostar-Duvno and apostolic administrator of Trebinje-Mrkan since 2020. Palić descends from the Kosovo Croat family, being born in Pristina. After the graduation from the Faculty of Catholic Theology in Zagreb in 1995, Palić was ordained a priest in 1996 and held various pastoral and administrative posts in the Diocese of Dubrovnik. He was bishop of the Diocese of Hvar-Brač-Vis from 2018 to 2020. Early life Petar Palić was born into a Kosovo Croat family of Catholic faith in Pristina in communist Yugoslavia (present-day Kosovo). Rrok Gjonlleshaj ( cnr, Рок Ђонлешај, Rok Đonlešaj; born 10 February 1961) is a Montenegrin Albanian prelate of the Catholic Church who serves as the Archbishop of Bar from 2016. He briefly served as the apostolic administrator of the Diocese of Kotor from 2019 to 2021. Life After the end of his elementary studies in his native city, Rrok Gjonlleshaj studied philosophy and theology in Rijeka and received on 1 August 1987, the sacrament of Holy Orders for the Apostolic Administration of Prizren.
