Institutional League
The Institutional League is an Indian men's professional football league starting from the 2023–24 season. AIFF announced in the press conference on April 14 that in a new Institutional League will be organised with at least 10 teams which will play on home and away basis. The teams will be decided via bidding process. History After the disbanding of PSU clubs for not fulfilling AFC club licensing criteria, the All India Football Federation was planning to make a corporate-clubs league in July 2017. A proposal was sent to the All India Public Sector Sports Promotion Board (AIPSSPB), but it was not organised then. AIFF held a pre-meeting with 25 interested teams on 31st August 2023. A few days later Request for Proposal have been issued to the interested teams. The league is expected to start in January 2024. All India Football Federation
The All India Football Federation (AIFF) is the national governing body of football in India. It is a member of FIFA, the international governing body of football and affiliated to Asian Football Confederation. It is affiliated to Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of Government of India and a member of South Asian Football Federation. AIFF's teams India men's and women's football teams represents India in men's and women's international football tournaments, friendlies respectively. JCT FC
Jagatjit Cotton & Textile Football Club (formerly known as JCT Mills FC; abbreviated as both JCT FC, or simply JCT) was an Indian professional football club based in Phagwara, Punjab. Founded in 1971, the club was sponsored by Jagatjit Cotton and Textile Mills under the leadership of Samir Thapar and participated in the National Football League which was later renamed I-League. They also participated in Punjab State Super Football League under licence from Punjab Football Association. The club was disbanded in 2011. Nicknamed "the millmen", JCT have won many tournaments and brought laurels to the State of Punjab. They won the inaugural edition of the National Football League in 1996. Kerala Premier League
Kerala Premier League is a state-level top football league organized by the Kerala Football Association and played in the state of Kerala, India. For sponsorship reasons it is officially known as the Scoreline Kerala Premier League. Structure The league features teams from the state of Kerala affiliated with the KFA. The top four teams from each group qualify for the final round. A women's league started in the 2014–15 season with 8 teams.
