Indonesian Idol (season 7)
The seventh season of ''Indonesian Idol'' premiered on RCTI on February 17, 2012. The show aired every Friday at 8:00 pm and Re-run aired every Sunday at 1:00 pm. Daniel Mananta returned as the host, while :id:Anang Hermansyah, Anang Hermansyah and Agnes Monica returned as the judges, and musician and hits-maker Ahmad Dhani replaced Erwin Gutawa as the third judges. Fabian Dharmawan became the new Executive Producer. Vokal Plus founder & CEO Indra Aziz, and Irvan Nat, both of them are professional vocal couches, became the new in-house mentors to work with the contestants on a weekly basis. Universal Music Group, Universal Music Indonesia replaced Sony Music Entertainment, Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia as Idol's official partner record label. Mobile phone, Cross Mobile, Coolant, Honda and Indomie, Mie Sedaap, were the official sponsors of the show. Dewi Sandra Killick or better known as Dewi Sandra (born 3 April 1980) is a Brazilian-born Indonesian singer, actress, dancer and model of mixed English and Betawi people, Betawi descent. Padi (band)
Padi (Indonesian for ''Oryza sativa'') is an Indonesian rock band. It is formed in 1996 with their early name Soda. When the band formed on April 8, 1997 through the rename from Soda to Padi, all of its members were still studying at Airlangga University, Surabaya, Indonesia. The band consists of Satrio Yudi Wahono better known as "Piyu" (lead guitar, backing vocals), Andi Fadly Arifuddin (lead vocals), Ari Tri Sosianto (guitar, backing vocals), Rindra Risyanto Noor (bass), and Surendro Prasetyo better known as "Yoyo" (drums). Their second album, Sesuatu Yang Tertunda (2001), recorded one of the highest domestic sales of music records in Indonesia by selling approximately 2 million copies, with 450,000 copies of which sold in just 2 weeks. Padi has sold approximately 4 million albums in Indonesia only, as of 2012.
