Ignacio Ortiz
Ignacio Ortiz is a Mexican painter and teacher noted for his depictions of women and his work in the development of the fine arts program at the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León. He began his career at the same university as a student, with advanced studies in Europe. He has had individual and collective showings of his work in Mexico, the United States and various countries in Europe. He is a member of the Royal Union of Swedish Painters and the Salón de la Plástica Mexicana. In 2005, the Museo Metropolitano de Monterrey gave him an award for his life’s work and contributions to the culture of Monterrey. Life Ignacio Ortiz was born in La Piedad, Michoacán in 1934. María Félix
María de los Ángeles Félix Güereña (; 8 April 1914 – 8 April 2002) was a Mexican actress and singer. Along with Pedro Armendáriz and Dolores del Río, she was one of the most successful figures of Latin American cinema in the 1940s and 1950s. Considered one of the most beautiful actresses of the Golden Age of Mexican cinema, her taste for the finesse and strong personality garnered her the title of diva early in her career. The Palacio de Bellas Artes (Palace of Fine Arts) is a prominent cultural center in Mexico City.
