Houshang Asadi
Houshang Asadi ( fa, هوشنگ اسدی; born 1951) is an Iranian journalist and writer. Life He was a member of the Tudeh Party of Iran. During his time in prison, under duress he confessed to being an agent of the SAVAK (Persian: , short for Sāzmān-e Ettelā'āt va Amniyat-e Keshvar, National Intelligence and Security Organization) the secret police, domestic security and intelligence service established by Iran's Shah, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi. He was jailed during the reign of Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, and in 1974, with Ali Khamenei: On a cold winter day in 1975, I was about to be transferred from the cell we'd been sharing. Gabriel García Márquez
Gabriel José de la Concordia García Márquez (; 6 March 1927 – 17 April 2014) was a Colombian novelist, short-story writer, screenwriter, and journalist, known affectionately as Gabo () or Gabito () throughout Latin America. Considered one of the most significant authors of the 20th century, particularly in the Hispanic literature, Spanish language, he was awarded the 1972 Neustadt International Prize for Literature and the 1982 Nobel Prize in Literature. Islamic Republic
The term Islamic republic has been used in different ways. Some Muslim religious leaders have used it as the name for a theoretical form of Islamic theocratic government enforcing sharia, or laws compatible with sharia. The term has also been used for a sovereign state taking a compromise position between a purely Islamic caliphate and a secular, nationalist republic -- neither an Islamic monarchy nor secular republic.
