Shibuya-kei
is a microgenre of pop music or a general aesthetic that flourished in Japan in the mid-to late 1990s. The music genre is distinguished by a "cut-and-paste" approach that was inspired by the kitsch, fusion, and artifice from certain music styles of the past. P-Vine Records is an independent record label based in Tokyo, Japan. History It was started in 1976 by Blues Interactions, a firm founded in 1975 by Yasufumi Higurashi and Akira Kochi, as a record label focused on black music. The label name comes from the "Peavine Branch" of the Mississippi Yazoo and Mississippi Valley Railroad sung in blues songs by Charley Patton and Big Joe Williams. , known professionally as , is a Japanese singer and songwriter. From 2014 to 2015, she was the lead vocalist of the band For Tracy Hyde. Career 2013-2015: Early music career In high school, Lovely Summer Chan was part of her high school's light music club. The first song she composed was "Tsuki no Hikarikata." In 2013, she began producing music at home and posting music on SoundCloud. Lovely Summer Chan sang on the chorus of Tofubeats's second single, "Disco no Kami-sama", which was released on March 14, 2014. For Tracy Hyde was a Japanese shoegaze band, formed in 2012. The group started as the solo project of Natsubot, real name Azusa Suga, before adding more members over time. At the time of its breakup, it consisted of guitarist Suga, singer and guitarist Eureka, bassist Mav, and drummer Sougou. The band's music was primarily written by Suga. The group was named after the song "Tracy Hide" by American band Wondermints. Suga was unaware of actress Tracy Hyde at the time.
