Dina Hosny
Dina Hosny Abdel-Aziz ( ar, دينا حسني; born 26 September 1983 in Cairo) is an Egyptian sport shooter. She has been selected to compete for Egypt in air rifle shooting at the 2004 Summer Olympics, and has won two medals, a silver and bronze, at the African Championships. Hosny trains under head coach Mohamed Fayek for the national shooting team, while serving full-time for the Egyptian Army. Hosny qualified for the Egyptian squad in the women's 10 m air rifle at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. She managed to get a minimum qualifying standard of 377 from her runner-up finish at the African Championships to fill in one of the Olympic berths available for Egypt, after the Egyptian Shooting Federation had decided to exchange spots in her pet event with the unused quota from the women's air pistol. Farouk Hosny
Farouk Hosny (or Hosni) ( ar, فاروق حسنى; born 1938) is an Egyptian abstract painter who was Minister of Culture from 1987 to 2011. Early life and career Hosny was born and grew up in Alexandria. He graduated from Alexandria University's School of Fine Arts in 1964 and upon graduation directed the Al-Anfoushi Cultural Palace for several years. An abstract painter, Hosny held exhibitions worldwide and won the Japanese Soka Gakai International University cultural and peace prize. Between 1971-1978, he was Egypt's cultural attaché in Paris and from 1979 to 1987 served in the same position in Rome, where he also was the director of the Egyptian Academy of Arts. Hadia Mohamed Hosny Elsaid Mohamed Tawfik El Said (born 30 July 1988) is an Egyptian badminton player playing in the Beijing 2008 and London 2012 Olympics. She won the women's singles title at the 2010 African Championships, and emerged as the women's doubles gold medalist at the 2019 African Games. Hassan Hosny ( ar, حسن حسني) (June 19, 1931 – May 30, 2020) was an Egyptian actor and comedian. He was known for El Nazer ("The headmaster") (2000), El basha telmiz (2004) and Zaky Chan (2005). Osama Hosny Lotfy Abdel Sattar ( ar, أسامة حسني لطفي عبد الستار; born June 18, 1982) is a retired Egyptian footballer.
