Homa Hotel Group
Homa Hotel Group is the largest hotel chain in Iran, the hotel is a subsidiary of IranAir and Social Security Organization, which owns a chain of five-star hotels in major cities of Iran. History Homa Hotel was founded by The Shah in hopes of boosting tourism in Iran, it was part of the IranAir Group. it originally had plans on building its own hotels in major Iranian cities. After the Iranian Revolution the hotel group managed to purchase hotels formerly operated by larger foreign hotel chains after having to leave Iran. Overview Homa Hotels has more than 1,000 rooms, all of its hotels were constructed prior to the 1979 Revolution with the exception of the 2nd Mashhad Hotel which is the only Homa Hotel that was built by and for Homa Hotels in the late 1990s. Vanak
Vanak () is a neighbourhood in the northern part of Tehran, capital of Iran and there is a square and a street named after it. The word Vanak means "Small (ash) Tree" in Persian. The name derives from the original older village of Vanak (''Deh-e Vanak'') in the area, and today there is also a square called Vanak nearby. Vanak is one of the important junctures in Tehran and the midpoint for some of the city's highways such as the ''Jahan-Kudak'' (now ''Haghani''), Chamran, Hemmat and Modarres. Welton Becket
Welton David Becket (August 8, 1902 – January 16, 1969) was an American modern architect who designed many buildings in Los Angeles, California. Biography Becket was born in Seattle, Washington and graduated from the University of Washington program in Architecture in 1927 with a Bachelor of Architecture degree (B.Arch.). He moved to Los Angeles in 1933 and formed a partnership with his University of Washington classmate Walter Wurdeman and Angelean architect Charles F. Plummer. Their first major commission was the Pan-Pacific Auditorium in 1935, which won them residential jobs from James Cagney, Robert Montgomery, and other film celebrities. Plummer died in 1939. Chalus, Iran
Chalus ( fa, چالوس; romanized: Chālūs, Chaloos, Chalousse, Chalous, and Čâlus) is a city in Mazandaran Province in north of Iran. About It serves as the county seat for Chalus County.
