Helen Davies (athlete)
Helen Davies (née Decker born 12 September 1979) is a British long-distance runner. She finished 3rd British Lady at the London Marathon in 2010. She competed for Britain at the 2010 European Athletics Championships and represented England at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, both in the marathon.After a 5 year break from running in 2012 to start a family, she returned successfully in 2017 to win the Brighton Marathon, and then went on to win at Brighton Marathon for a furthermore two years, earning selection for a third time to run for Team England at the Toronto Waterfront Marathon in Canada in 2018. Cumulating in a hat trick of wins and pb performance in 2019 at Brighton Marathon. Following this performance She was selected for Team GB to represent at the IAU 50k World Championships in Brasov Romania. Maidenhead is a market town in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead in the county of Berkshire, England, on the southwestern bank of the River Thames. Maidenhead Half Marathon
Maidenhead Half Marathon is an annual running race held in Maidenhead, Berkshire, England. The inaugural race took place on Sunday 4 September 2011, starting at 9.30am, and attracted over 2,000 entrants. It was organised by local company Purple Patch Running. Past winners § Location changed to Dorney Lake for this edition. Course Maidenhead Half Marathon has a fast flat course, with an overall elevation change of less than 10 m, and therefore provides excellent PB potential. 2011 The original course took in some of the most attractive local scenery including Bray, Maidenhead Riverside and Cookham. Brighton
Brighton () is a seaside resort and one of the two main areas of the City of Brighton and Hove in the county of East Sussex, England. It is located south of London. The Brighton Marathon is an annual marathon in Brighton and Hove, England. It was first held on 18 April 2010 and has usually been held in April every year since. The inaugural Brighton Marathon was set up by former international athlete Tim Hutchings and local athlete Tom Naylor. History The first Brighton Marathon took place on 18 April 2010. 2012 London Marathon
The 2012 London Marathon was the 32nd running of the annual marathon race in London, England, which took place on Sunday, 22 April. Both of the elite races were won by Kenyan athletes, and Ethiopia's Tsegaye Kebede was the only non-Kenyan to reach the podium in either race. Mary Jepkosgei Keitany won the women's elite race for the second year running with a Kenyan record time of 2:18:37 hours. 2011 London Marathon
The 2011 London Marathon was the 31st running of the annual marathon race in London, England, which took place on Sunday, 17 April. The elite men's race was won by Kenya's Emmanuel Kipchirchir Mutai in a course record time of 2:04:40 hours and the elite women's race was won by Mary Jepkosgei Keitany, also of Kenya, in 2:19:19. Mutai's win made him the fourth-fastest ever over the distance. Runner-up Martin Lel sprinted to the line to beat Patrick Makau Musyoki, completing a Kenyan sweep of the podium.
