Heksenetter
''Heksenetter'' (Witch Nights) is a Norwegian drama film from 1954, directed by Leif Sinding. Georg Løkkeberg appears in the main role as Major General Arthur Ranlow. Plot The great war is in its final stages, and Major General Arthur Ranlow orders an attack on the enemy's nuclear facilities. He has an entirely personal motive for the attack because the officers he assigns are men that he suspects are flirting with his wife. All four officers die during the attack. The plot moves forward in time, and Ranlow is in his living room. Sergeant Sander is his servant, and their existence is marked by occult interests. In their conversation, it appears that Ranlow has been fired from the army. Sander draws the curtains when he sees a strange woman outside. Ranlow orders her to enter the house and, when that happens, Ranlow's health and mental condition deteriorate. Bjarne Andersen
Bjarne Andersen (15 January 1909 – 13 August 1982) was a Norwegian actor, stage producer and theatre director. Personal life Andersen was born in Stavanger to Emil Laurentzius Andersen and Ingeborg Bertine Osmondsdatter Udvig. He married librarian Sissel Aanderaa in 1957. Career Andersen worked for Det Norske Teatret from 1944 to 1951. He served as theatre director at Rogaland Teater from 1958 to 1960, and at Den Nationale Scene from 1961 to 1963. He was chairman for the Norwegian Actors' Equity Association from 1967 to 1969. He made his film debut in Tancred Ibsens ''To mistenkelige personer'' (1950). Among his film roles was the one as Stråmannen (''Straw Man'') in Arne Skouens ''Emergency Landing'' (1952). Leif Sinding
Leif Sinding (19 November 1895 – 13 May 1985) was a Norwegian film director and journalist. He worked for the newspapers ''Verdens Gang'', ''Aftenposten'', and ''Morgenbladet''. Among his silent films are ''Himmeluret'' from 1925, based on Gabriel Scott's comedy, and ''Fjeldeventyret'' from 1926. He directed the film ''Bra mennesker'' (1937), based on a play by Oskar Braaten, and the films ''De vergeløse'' (1939) and ''Tante Pose'' (1940), both based on novels by Gabriel Scott. In 1941 he directed the comedy '' Kjærlighet og vennskap''. During the German occupation of Norway Sinding collaborated with the Axis forces, was a member of Nasjonal Samling, and was sentenced to four years forced labour after the war. Per Gunnar Jonson
Per Gunnar Jonson (11 April 1910 – 16 October 1975) was a Norwegian cinematographer and ski jumper. Cinematography Jonson shot a short film about skiing in Karpathos, which impressed German director Leni Riefenstahl, and she hired him as an assistant director for the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. He primarily worked as a cinematographer on Norwegian films, in addition to occasionally working as a director and producer. At the end of his career he established his own film production company. Ski jumping In 1934, Per Jonson participated in an international competition at the Bloudek Giant in Planica, making a jump meters long. In another jump, outside the competition, he landed at with a fall. His was one of the best ski jumpers of his time, competing together with legends such as Birger Ruud and his brother Sigmund Ruud. Edith Charlotte Ottosen (June 18, 1928 – January 17, 1990) was a Norwegian actress. Ottosen was born in Levanger, Norway. She grew up in Copenhagen, and in 1951 she debuted at the Aarhus Theater. Pelle Christensen
Per "Pelle" Christensen (9 March 1923 – 30 July 1995) was a Norwegian actor and translator. He was born in Kristiania as a son of Gerda Ring and Halfdan Christensen and brother of Bab Christensen.
