Haya (Islam)
Haya ( ar, حياء, Hayāʾ, roughly corresponding to: ''bashfulness'', ''decency'', ''modesty'', ''shyness'') is an Arabic word that means "natural or inherent, shyness and a sense of modesty". In Islamic terminology, it is mainly used in the context of modesty. The word itself is derived from the word ''Hayat,'' which means "life". The original meaning of Haya refers to "a bad or uneasy feeling accompanied by embarrassment". Haya encourages Muslims to avoid anything considered to be distasteful or abominable. Haya plays an important role in Islam, as it is one of the most important parts of Iman. The antonym of Haya in Arabic is ''badha'a'' (, immodesty) or '' fahisha'' (, lewdness or obscenity). Shyness
Shyness (also called diffidence) is the feeling of apprehension, lack of comfort, or awkwardness especially when a person is around other people. This commonly occurs in new situations or with unfamiliar people; a shy person may simply opt to avoid these situations. Although shyness can be a characteristic of people who have low self-esteem, the primary defining characteristic of shyness is a fear of what other people will think of a person's behavior. This fear of negative reactions such as being laughed at, humiliated or patronized, criticized or rejected can cause a shy person to retreat. Modesty
Modesty, sometimes known as demureness, is a mode of dress and deportment which intends to avoid the encouraging of sexual attraction in others. Iman (concept)

Fahisha
Fahisha or Fahash ( ar, فُحْش, الفاحشة, فاحشة) is an Arabic word, commonly means lewdness and indecency. Terminology According to Islamic scholars, there are two opinions about the meaning of Fahisha: *Either it is fornication and adultery (Zina as ''Fahisha Mubin''), as Quran states, *The second opinion is any bad deeds that deserves punishment such as stoning, killing, cutting a hand, etc. The major sins included in Fahisha are numerous. Hadith
