Harel Moyal
Harel Moyal ( he, הראל מויאל, born April 12, 1981) is an Israeli pop singer-songwriter and stage actor who won the second season of the Israeli television series '' Kochav Nolad'' (Hebrew for ''A Star Is Born''). He has released two albums. Early life Harel Moyal (his stage name) was born in Gilo, Jerusalem. His family moved to the Ma'ale Adumim settlement in the West Bank when he was one and a half years old, where he grew up with his brother. His father played the guitar, composed songs, and occasionally performed with the Andalusian Music Band, a Spanish orchestra. Career Moyal attended the auditions for the second season of ''Kokhav Nolad'', and was chosen to participate in the show. He went on to win the competition, performing in front of 7,500 people at the season final, broadcast on August 15, 2004, from the Coca-Cola Music Village at the Hof Nitzanim. Gilo
Gilo ( he, גִּלֹה) is an Israeli settlement in south-western East Jerusalem, with a population of 30,000, mostly Jewish inhabitants. Although it is located within the Jerusalem Municipality, it is widely considered a settlement, because as one of the five Ring Neighborhoods built by Israel surrounding Jerusalem, it was built on land in the West Bank that was occupied by and effectively annexed to Israel following the 1967 Six-Day War and 1980 Jerusalem Law. The international community regards Israeli settlements illegal under international law, although Israel disputes this. Israel also disputes its designation as a settlement, and it is administered as part of the Jerusalem municipality. Yehuda Saado (in Hebrew יהודה סעדו also written Sa'ado) (born in Jerusalem on 29 April 1983) is an Israeli singer and the winner of the third season of the Israeli music competition program ''Kokhav Nolad''. Career Yehuda Saado, born in Jerusalem was raised in Kiryat Ekron and learned keyboards at a young age. He served in the Israel Air Force at the Tel Nof Airbase as a technician. After release from the Air Force, he studied music at the Rimon School of Jazz and Contemporary Music at Ramat HaSharon. In 2005, he took part in the third season of ''Kokhav Nolad'', the Israeli equivalent of the ''Idol series''. In the final held on August 29, 2005 in Tel Aviv, Yehuda Saado won the title with the song "Sadot Shel Irusim" (in Hebrew "שדות של אירוסים") written by Shlomo Artzi getting 918,520 votes.
