Shlomi Shabat
Shlomi Shabat ( he, שלומי שבת; born August 30, 1954) is an Israeli vocalist and musician. He is of Turkish Eastern Sephardim, Eastern Sephardic Jewish origin. Early life Shabat was born in Yehud, Israel, to a family of Sephardic Jewish descent who Aliyah, immigrated from Turkish Jews, Turkey. He sings in Hebrew, Turkish language, Turkish, and Spanish language, Spanish. Musical career His CDs include ''Friends'' and ''Live in Caesaria'', in which he sings with other Israeli artists, including his sister Lea Shabat, Shiri Maimon, and Lior Narkis. In 2002, he was nominated for the Tamuz Award of Israel's Best Male Artist, along with David D'Or, Arkadi Duchin, Yuval Gabay, and Yehuda Polikerbut lost out to D'Or. Yehud ( he, יְהוּד) is a city in the Central District (Israel), Central District of Israel that is part of the joint municipality of Yehud-Monosson. Lior Narkis ( he, ליאור נרקיס; born November 8, 1976 in Holon, Israel) is an Israeli singer. Biography Lior Narkis was born in Holon. His father, David Narkis, was of Iraqi-Jewish origin. His mother Hanna Narkis, was of Serbian-Jewish descent and also had Greek-Tunisian-Jewish ancestry. Narkis speaks Hebrew, Serbian and French. Poliker first became known in the 1980s as the lead vocalist for the band Benzene.
